Mankar says in his speech that the Daedra are the true Gods of the world, yet he and the Mythic Dawn seem to worship Mehrunes Dagon and Lorkhan only. Is it because they are considered "higher" than the other Daedra Lords? (I know Lorkhan technically isn't really Daedra, but according to Mankar he is.)
A lot of what Mankar Camoran says is very astute and represents an expansive knowledge of Oblivion and its Princes. What strikes me as most interesting about Camoran's writings as well as his spoken words is his incorporation of existentialism into metaphysical theory.
For example, he says that although Lorkhan was "killed" and his existence was attempted to be stripped from the Aurbis, he still remains through his Heart and in every Mundane culture. Not only that but he appears in a similar fashion throughout every culture as either a thief, a trickster, or a being of creation.
As for his views on Nirn and its existence as a Daedric realm, I think it's hogwash. Lorkhan was not Daedric, he was something entirely different, and Camoran's views on Lorkhan as a Daedric Prince appear in my opinion only as a bit of self-fed propaganda.
Concerning his views on the Daedric Princes, I don't believe he sets any above the others, regardless of his relationship with Dagon. A true scholar of Daedra knows that none can truly supersede another.
