Who is tweeting bethsda about the patch?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:57 pm

Easy way for Bethesda to stop the influx of tweets they are no doubt getting for this latest patch debarcle - reply to at least one of them guys!

Anyway, if you haven't already, I strongly suggest you make your voice heard at these contact details below:

http://twitter.com/#!/Bethblog
http://www.gamesas.com/eng/contact_email.php
https://www.facebook.com/TheElderScrolls
https://www.facebook.com/BethesdaGames

I think thats the main ones?
Remember, be patient, you can't expect them to magic a new patch within days, that is unfair. They work hard to make us great games, this is more a PR issue then anything. Their PR team simply need to stop being silent on the matter.

If you have any consumer laws in your country, make sure to let bethesda know you will be following that course of action (like contacting an ombudsman or consumer rights advocate) if they do not publicly address this issue in the months ahead.

I have not had any issues other than the resist bug happen so far. That by itself is a pretty big issue though. I have not had any other problems at all so far over the six hours played today, and I think I ended up fighting five dragons. None of them flew backwards yet.

My only bug was resistance, but I stopped playing once I discovered that. I don't want to have to reload old saves if the issue is only fixed to pre-1.2 saves.

Also I don't want to cheat or break the game if that is one bug that could mess with my flame resistant dragonslayer.

It most likely will not get any direct response, but I have Tweeted the question to Bethesda, the Elder Scrolls feed and to Xbox Support.

Unpatched here.

I might patch up anyway since offline steam is a ball ache and if its really bad, roll it back myself.

I wish I could roll mine back, but Its a hassle from what i've read. and I hate having to back stuff up and then test and rinse repeat.

Easier for me to just play Deus Ex and wait it out till bethesda responds with a fix.

Social experiment? You're just putting people up to spam Bethesda...

I understand why you are doing this, but most of the time these 'guerilla-campaigns' don't end up being really constructive. It would be smarter/productive just to collect a list of most game-breaking and frequently occuring bugs, and send them to Bethesda. But i think they are already quite aware of these. They just don't want to spend money on somebody reading the forums 24/7, who's having a full-time job responding on the boatload of critisism, whiny threads and self-entitled demands an insignificant small group of players is making. No offense, just being realistic.

Lol. Of course they are aware of all bugs in the game found so far and what they fix in long-awaited patch? Actually nothing  Let's continue to collect bugs.

What do you know about their production cycle? Their planning? Maybe the employees that are responsible for fixing the most significant bugs are on a well deserved vacation? There are so many possible reasons for specific bugfixes to be released in a later patch ; reasons that make no sense to an average consumer, and are not worthy trying to explain. Sometimes it's better to just shut about it, instead of appeasing an impatient crowd with false information and promises.

I've got floating images/previous version backups. I believe all you have to do is replace 3 files with old ones.

Since I am currently on a 'young' character, the 0% resist on it being overrideen to 0% aint a big deal. It's more the stability bother people are reporting/ass end dragons proving unkillable and following you that worries me.

So let me get this straight, your using Twitter and "tweets" to tell Bethesda your upset over their terrible patch job, and not meaningful, actually useful means of complaining like calling them and writing emails?

Good luck, I hate this new generation.

Though granted, if the game were simply Morrowind 2 none of us would be suffering right now.

Maybe I can't expect a patch to patch what the 1.2 patch breaks, but to continue pushing the patch to infect more people's games is easily remedied... pull the patch.

Looks like your the only 1 , Fire and Forst resist very low even with a high setting and using potions , Fire and Forst antiochs you conjure now take health hits with Fire and Frost , Fire antiochs should not take damage from Fire and Frost should not damage a Frost one but with 1.02 it does. And there was a youtube post of dragons flying backwards.

My advice - leave them alone. They're obviously hard at work trying to fix the problem. Incessant whining on twitter won't help matters, and will only make the community look bad.

Not whining and raging will make it look like the community doesn't give a crap...

Since no issue I had was fixed with this patch, it's more that the patch broke everything for me, I switched back to 1.1.
