What about just throwing the enclave a bone?
there are few of them now and it be cool if some enclave members became assassins. Being there past was erased and there future is broken not much to do but become a shadow. A role as assassins would be cool. Im sure there power armor could be equipped with a stealth boy. A they would look beast wearing a robe and cape.
The EnBrew. ok the name needs working but well think of something.

and Colonel Martyr
as Iv stated before we dont know if they had a station in the south. Its very likely and if its true they may of been having trouble with communication it would make sense if the southern enclave had no idea of the defeats in the north and west.

THANK YOU

Maybe, but I honestly can't see any real strategic value to the South as opposed to D.C., Chicago, or L.A. I mean heck, here in Mississippi, it has nothing viable for a government entity in a post war society, or so I feel anyway.

sorry for no poll but right now im using my ps3 and it wont let me..............................but to the point who (other than me) wonts the enclave back i have few reasons why they should come back 1.there very fun 2. they've never once been able to join them 3. there sre more enclave bases out there like chicago or New York or newly anexxed canada. 4. there is little known about them 5. IN EVERY GAME YOU HAVE TO DESTROY THEM AND EVEN WHEN YOU HELP THEM IN FALLOUT 3 ENDING YOU STILL ARE FORCED TO HELP BROTHERHOOD thats all i can think of right now but rest ashored america theres more to come

I for one would love them back.

yes in Mississippi but thats not the only southern state now is it :P.
while yes the states in the south don't have a large government presents we do in military. We provide the Usa's largest number of troops weapons and air craft and the airport (I know i said it a lot but can you blame it) controls a lot of economy. (im talking about hearts field jackson). Heck Mississippi has a good amount of tanks. (a hell lot more the 50% of the north any ways) and it has some of the best farm land. And last is the airport again. If your going against a enemy over seas your gona need something with a lot of fuel. what better thing then a air plain. sure its got few guns but it could hold more people and make the travel easier.
what the south lacks in government power we make up in military power. and thats one thing you need to control a destroyed future.

But you're overlooking something though, the Enclave has no use for tanks, the USAF wasn't the Enclave, they were unaware of the Enclave's existence (well, the grunts and average troops). A good 80% of military hardware available Pre-War is quaintessentially obsolete to the Enclave. They have Vertibirds, Adv PA Mkll, and a varying degree of high end tech. Also take into account looters, and those bases are worthless after being plundered for over 200 years. As to farmland, don't forget, we aren't sure how fertile it's land is after the bombs fell on the United States, so it's hard to say. Honestly, there are to many unknown variables at play here.

still whos to say this old tech wouldn't come in handy. anything old can easily become new with a little work. the airport and any military bace would have some protection by something whether it be robot or human making prospectors think twice. and what about all the bases here that can shoot stuff into space. The would need to get those mac blast up there some how. and they would need a well manned team to go up there once in a while to fix it. (that be an awesome enclave quest to go to space fight some ghouls and fix the cannon)

I would like to see the Enclave in future games, as long as they aren't the main faction and the story is "DESTROY THE ENCLAVE AGAIN"

Maybe a smaller, less dangerous Enclave, but not an Enclave that is the main enemy.

Did the Enclave have other bases throughout the United States? Most likely. But after the destruction of two presidents, three bases, what few Enclave troops remain are at this point likely going to remain hidden, or try to adapt and settle into wasteland life. The Enclave, just like the Brotherhood, are at this point horribly efficient. Despite their superior armor and weapons. they get their American flag stamped butts handed to them by a tribal and a 19 year old kid from a Vault. If that doesn't scream incompetence, I don't know what does.

Gary. Garyy gary gary. Gaaaaarrrrrrrrrry.

I agree that Enclave going to adapt, and if Autumn is any indication, they do have those who ready to do so.

That not just any Tribal...that the luke skywalker of tribals.

Anyway, it would be mad hard to have NV style combat and DT in FO3. I would imagine DT of hellfire and tesla armor be close to 50.

What would be mad hilarious fun is if in FO 4 you could play as a Gary who sent to Chicago. After experiments, you regain most of your sanity, but you always have a dialog option of Gary, and when confused you can go into a Gary fit. That could possibly be the best FO 4 character, ever.

I would imagine many military bases, enclave bases, have mad insane security systems to get into.

Would be fun to actually explore a Poseidon military reasearch center. Who do we send? Enclave private Gary, of course.

After getting past security robots and turrets, Gary is faced with Zax computer asking for password in.

Dialog options:
1. Science 100 ycfgy36-gh960
2. Speech 100 set poseidon overide delta gamma bravo
3. Gary?
4. I don't know.

Option 3 selected.

Zax computer confused and asks again.
Dialog option : Gaaaaary. Gary!

Access granted.

So... you want a massive Enclave force, that's had no contact with any leadership for 200 years, to just be in the south because before the war it had some military bases there?

Hey, if you want more Enclave, I'm working on a mod to make a (sort-of ex-)Enclave player companion for FONV right now.

Except, it will actually be justifiable and sensible lorewise! :P

there r 3 things I would like to see as a companion
Rick:Hes a Retired Enclave assation that left because he saw no hope of it returning. He moved to megaton as a protector. He will join you if you pay him 10 caps (for some beer) When you meet him he has a Knife and a dart gun with 200 darts. Hes wearing a "Raider iconoclast armor" and a Enclave Power suit helmet.
(I thought ENCLAVE GENERAL would like this)

Hawk:Hes a brand new recruit to the talons but he wants to be something bigger so he will join any one who will act like a father figure to him. (hes only 17)
When you meet him in Temple of the Union All he has is a Scoped .44 magnum, Combat Knife, and 44 .44 Rounds. Hes wearing a "Talon Combat Armor".
(I thought Mako Vlazkov would like it)

Ripper:A member of the southern Reapers he was the first true hell raiser. Unlike most hellraisers he had a surgery to have is brain taken out and replaced with a chip. Now hes a mindless body following any at the drop of a penny. He wears a Winterized Combat Armor and a Enclave Hellfire helmet. His weapons are a Metal Blaster and a Deathclaw gauntlet, He also has 100 Microfusion Cell. Hes at Raven Rock waiting for a order.
(This is for me :P)

I thought these be cool any one know a good modder.

The plan is currently to have him in Combat Armor with authority glasses, a bandana, and (hopefully) a Wattz 2000 laser rifle; he upgrades to Remnant Power Armor once you reach a certain level (this will eventually be done through a personal quest, but I want to get a working release version out asap).

The idea is that he was a footsoldier, I don't want to go into more detail than that because it's still up in the air to a degree and I don't want to give away too much. :P
