who wants the enclave back (other than me)

Post » Sun May 15, 2011 1:11 pm

sorry for no poll but right now im using my ps3 and it wont let me..............................but to the point who (other than me) wonts the enclave back i have few reasons why they should come back 1.there very fun 2. they've never once been able to join them 3. there sre more enclave bases out there like chicago or New York or newly anexxed canada. 4. there is little known about them 5. IN EVERY GAME YOU HAVE TO DESTROY THEM AND EVEN WHEN YOU HELP THEM IN FALLOUT 3 ENDING YOU STILL ARE FORCED TO HELP BROTHERHOOD thats all i can think of right now but rest ashored america theres more to come

I don't want them back. Not as they were in Fallout 3 or Fallout 2. Just small remnants that have a new mission in life.

youv got a point

thats why I think the next game should be in the south
a region not known to us and mysterious.
it could have army of enclave and we could for once join them.

Let it be... LET IT BE... Let it be... Oh... Let it be. There shall be an answer... Let it be!

It only took 1 game for the Enclave to be done to death. Its not that they aren't a great villain, but you have the same villain all the time it gets boring, fast.

it could have army of enclave and we could for once join them.

One does not join the Enclave. One is used as a pawn until one outlives their usefulness, and then, well, one Out-lives (ha, Ha).

There is Chicago yes. Amount of troops there, unknown. I hope the there is very little. Logic would say there is very little there.

Enclave were Destroyed in Fallout 2. Most of them died on the Rig. The entire Enclave command structure was destroyed. What was left at Navarro, mostly military/scientists split. Some stayed at Navarro and lost to NCR. Others gave up and tried to blend into NCR only to be hunted by them and the BOS. Another group went to DC. There were not that many at Navarro so only a small group, maybe a couple hundred went to DC.

On there way they most likely set up shop at Chicago as a relay. Then they ended up in DC, only to be destroyed again and hunted down by the BoS.

I find it funny that people don't want anything new. Only "We want the Enclave!" Two games now with them as the "bad guys" and twice they were destroyed, three times if you count Broken Steel.

i wanna see them in new york around the statue of liberty

or in a pre war base and they are really parnoid and if your caught they take you to a interogation cell and ask you what you know about fractions about the outside(since there parnoid and dont wanna leave the base they have little info except by whta they have scavenged from when they attack and ask you to do a job for them like sabatoge a certain fraction for them and if you disagree your in a holding cell and must find a way out and if you agree they give you a enclave id badge thing and you go out do that return tell them you did the job and they tell you they heard from over the radio they then pay you either caps, energy cells, stimpacks, microfussion cells, some ammunition(10 mm 5.56 5.55 45-70) they then ask you to do another job(cant think of one) return they give you the same option of payment then after a few missions they trust you and offter you to become a member and offer you the advanced power armor(remenants power amrour in nv)

I'd like to see them back.

FO4 in Chicago would be fun (for me). Seeing the Enclave be the Equivalent of the BoS in New Vegas would be right, I think. Having their leadership destroyed twice, and in the dark, but still powerful if provoked. And the location would be untouched by any real major factions (Does FO:T count as Canon?). I just hope its not a "WE MUST KILL THE ENCLAVE" story again.

I'm not going to turn this thread into another debate but where did you get this idea? Enclave would have gone straight east on Presidential orders (Chicago is in the North). There would be little point to having a small relay in the middle of Chicago... and it would be pointless to just head up that direction for no reason. I mean what point would there be to that at all?

Cheers,

Bethesda has said that the "High-Level Events" of Tactics are canon. Until they tell us more about what they want to use from it, its safe to say Tactics is fully canon. There is nothing wrong canon wise with Tactics and I think Bethesda would be nuts not to use it. I want them to use the Barnaky Ending to Tactics to base the MWBoS on. Would be good to see the BoS as the "bad guys" for once.

I would not be against Remnants of Enclave that were in DC or the ones in Chicago working with, allied with or amalgamated into the BoS.

I posted why there would have small numbers. We don't know which way they went to DC or how they got to DC. 3000 miles is a long way to communicate. Establishing a Base in Chicago as a relay makes sense. Again Fallout 2 shows that Enclave were only on the Rig and Navarro. Fallout 3 tells us they were not in the East till after Fallout 3.

Tactics was not in Chicago, just outside Chicago. If we have a game in the Midwest and Run into BoS or a small group of Enclave they can say "we are based in Chicago" even if Chicago is not in the game.

Edit: Tactics covered a good chunck of the Midwestern United States. Some locations were close to Chicago.

Glad we can agree. There is one problem thow, people will want to see it so, sooner or later Chicago will have to be visited. I would not mind seeing it. But we did have a game close to there already (had locations around there).

ok fine it was "close" to it but that still doesn't mean that the south shouldn't be in the next game
its 100% not even mentioned in fallout and its getting annoying no ones noticed that.

Actually it be even cool if they restarted fallout in the south.
where there is not enclave or BoS. then we could combined the 2 series and have a huge battle. A new civil war.

although I would prefer if it was in the main series to be gin with.

I honestly think a fallout game without a very game affecting mainquest would be cool. If they majorly overhauled side quests and faction joining I would get a lot more out of the game.

Anyone else with me?

"grins after firing off a shot" Oh i say bring them back as well, made good foes to shoot at, nothing like actual power armored foes firing back at you using energy weapons using squad tactics, best fun i had in years. I actually had to break out a Gatling Laser after they tried to rush our position once......well, i can reminisce later, i am practicing. :gun:

(seriously, i would like to see them back, they made good foes, and it would be interesting to be on their side.)

Only way i would be for the ability to join them would be if your character is a vault dweller (not like the LW, he wasn't a true blood Vault Dweller).

Then I would still be on the fence about it, because you would have been exposed to the FEV outside...

Nowhere states that the Chicago Enclave has anything at all to do with the Navarro Remnants... If we are only using in game proof, that is.

Fallout 2 made it clear there was only Oil Rig and Navarro. It makes sense that they set up a base in Chicago as a relay between their new base at Raven Rock which was empty an Navarro.
