For starters:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Ysgramor

And if you really like reading:
http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1164564-the-five-hundred-mighty-companions-or-thereabouts-of-ysgramor-the-returned/

Hope that is enough info

And what do you mean by 'nedic' if I may ask?

I'm fairly certain he was a Nede.

In fact, all humans were Nede's well into the first era.

The Nedes were Tamriel natives. Ysgramor was Atmorian.

Yep, this. You would consider him a Nord for gameplay purposes, but he was born in Atmora.

Nedes are early/proto-humans, much like how the Aldmer were early/proto-elves. So Ysgramor can be both Nedic and Atmoran, in a sense.

Edit: Yeah, what Hellmouth said - Nedes also being the early human natives of Tamriel.

The wikia skyrim site has a page for nedes that basically describes in detail Atmorans rather than nedes. I predict this will be an ongoing cause of confusion unless someone gets bothered enough to edit it.

There are no human Tamriel natives, the first humans on Tamriel were the Nedes from Atmora. Some did come before Ysgramor but Ysgramor settled the continent.
If I remember correctly the beast men are the indigenous species of Tamriel.

All races belonged everywhere, because Nirn used to be one giant land, but then they broke into 5 pieces. They're now known as Yokuda, Akavir, Pandejk;ash;dgja, Atmora, and Tamriel.

The place south of Tamriel, where the maormer live. I could never remember how to spell it, so I fudge it, Hellmouth style.

Shoddy scholarship from a by-gone era.

I was serisously hoping giants would be cooler in Skyrim. LIke you could talk to, trade with, befriend, and do quests for giants. And they all wouldnt look exactly alike. They have absolutely no muscle definition and their skin makes me wanna vomit. Is there such thing as a giant warrior? I understand that all these little giants are shepherds. They have got to have some warriors, considering Skyrim is very dangerous even for them. (I bet arrows still hurt quite a bit)

Bethesda likes to.. simplify things. The Falmer are grossly mutated elves, so they should be ugly.. but they shouldn't all look the same. Giants are no different, but that would have been time consuming to implement.

I do wonder whether or not they're supposed to be intelligent though. It doesn't seem as though the giants in Skyrim are even capable of speech (would have been nice to see http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Giantish#Giantish in Skyrim).

While we're discussing the Nedes, did they look at all any different from the later Nordic race that was derived from them? The Nedes are supposed to also represent the ancestors of the Imperials from Cyrodiil and half of the ancestry of the High Rock Bretons too, right?

Don't really know much about their appearance. We do know that they're darker skinned than Nords, probably looking closer to the Imperials in Morrowind. They're Hispanic or South-East Asian in my imagination. However, one should remember that "Nedes" is used to describe a whole collection of tribes spread over a wide geographical area, so it is likely that they didn't all look the same.

Well, Giants used to be intelligent. I read on the forums a week ago (can't remember if fanfic or not) that the Nords started fighting the Giants they brought down, and the giants ran to the mountains. Generations later, when the giants came back down, they were all stupid and/or refused to talk to humans.

IIRC the Atmorans were Nedes who immigrated to Atmora, then went through some physical changes over the generations beause of the much harsher and colder climate then returned as a race that was similar, but different enough to be classified as their own.
