I read in an article recently that since classes have been dropped race selection will be more important in Skyrim. For my first playthrough i'm going to be doing a thief/assassin type character and wanted to pick a humanoid character to go along with my backstory which cancels out the khajt and argonians (Someone wanna explain to me how the hell an argonian is going to survive is an arctic environment like skyrim. If they're all lizard like shouldn't they be cold blooded?). So these two aside does anyone have any thoughts on which of the remaining races (besides orcs. Not that they'd make good thieves anyway) would make the best sneaky character? I guess i could play as a bosmer but will they still be short in V? Oh that remids me a little off topic but funny story.... Oblivion was my first TES game and i picked a wood elf because they were a)humanoid and b)sounded like great thieves. So i would play through the game and sometimes come across these "midget elves" with gay voices and be all like "Hey look at this thigh high piece of [censored]!!! Get out of here Frodo before you get stood on you [censored] idiot!! Hur hur hur". Later in the game as I was leading cyrodiils army out to the battle of Bruma i discovered the third person view and was like ".........Aww [censored] it!". Shattered ego. Never got over it. But yeah any thoughts?
Argonians are not cold-blooded, first of all.
Why not play a khajiit? Bosmer and khajiit are the best thieves. They're your MAIN thief classes, besides the breton and altmer if you want to be an Illusion-Thief. If you don't want to play khajiit (for whatever reason), then your best bet is bosmer. Not sure how short they are, but they look MUCH more vicious, and fit their lore of being cannibalistic savages.
