I want to know if V will appeal to people who prefer Morrowind or Oblivion, or whether it will be another obvious console port.

We don't know. I'm hoping for a healthy mix

A mix. Bethesda is good at making PC games that don't play or feel like console ports.

Not really. there's still quite a large PC gaming following for TES and, to be honest, the games are more suited to be played on PC rather than console, with the CS, console commands, DLC, ect.

If you ignore the UI that is.

If Bethesda's course since Morrowind is anything to go by, I'm inclined to expect an "even-simpler-than-Oblivion" console port with scads of Achievements and teeny new Horse Armor-type DLC every other week. Hopefully that's just my cynical side talking, but then it's hard to go wrong counting on corporate greed. :shrug:

Most of the games shops that I go into don't have many PC games any more, which I think is a tragedy. They seem more concerned with trading old console games and ripping people off.

Ever considered the possiblity it could be completely different from both? ^_^

I think it'll be more like Oblivion, but some part of me hopes that it wont be as lifeless.

I really hope they do full blown expansions instead of this DLC trash but it probably won't happen.
