Who will win in a bar fight.....Prophet or Master Chief?

Post » Fri May 20, 2011 7:53 pm

BUT HE's REAL. I saw him fly through my window
Yeah it totally was Peter Pan and wasn't me.... *Awkward Stare*

Anyways I believe Prophet would win because of:

1.Nanosuit can repair itself from damage

2.The wearer is healed by the suit if internal damage occurs (no need for bio-foam)

3.Suit AI can automatically tag targets which can traced even behind objects/cloaked.

4.Armor mode deflection ability could easily counter human weaponry (i.e. broken beer bottle that chief smashed on the bar table)

5.When police get called Prophet can cloak and later tell authority's that he was at Hardgreave's estate during the time of the fight.

6.Power punch beats Spartan punch (Ever see a Spartan kill an elite wearing a durable metal armor suit in one punch?)

7.Air Stomp = Dead Master Chief 100% of the time. Uh hello master chiefs armour is so freaking strong he can survive breaking through the atmosphere of earth. If prophet tried WHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SSSPPLLLLAAAAAT!!! So master chief has stronger armour and has fighting skills and if he tried could probably do a more powerful airstomp than prophet and plus master chief can do backflips frontflips and all sorts of ****! And plus prophet has energy levels for maximum armour without that hes just a standard cod noob whereas master has armour 100% of the time and ith heals him as well. Plus he was a child soldier from the age of 6!! beat that prophet.bich!

A lot of artistic license was used for Halo Legends, but all the stories (except the one about SPARTAN-1337) are canon. It's also entirely plausible that Chief would be able to do what he did, simply because Red Team did the same thing against the Arbiter's guards in Halo Wars.

Master Chief survived re-entry by shielding himself with a big chunk of the Forerunner Dreadnought. When he was about to land, his armor was in lockdown mode to further protect him. As a Spartan, he heals faster than normal humans. Add that to the life-support capabilities of the MJOLNIR Mark VI, and we have Master Chief getting up soon after landing.

Okay aznassassin158, maybe chief can take a antitank missile to the face, but Alcatraz take a gauss round to the face, chief really cant, dont believe me, try it on easy mode in halo, he'll still go down, that anti tank round was lucky, and he deflected some energy away, in the bar fight alcatraz can go in cloak mode a break the chiefs neck, the only unarmored part of his body, then go into armor mode and kick him across the room, followed by jamming his foot into the chiefs ass. One thing you didnt contradict was his real time module interface, Alcatraz will turn on nano recharge, armor enhance, threat tracer, all of his abilities and anything he wants by staring at his fingers, hes way more flexible than chiefs standards shield with speed. Chief also suffers the same faults as the N1, only one ability at a time, where as Alcatraz can do what ever he wants with his suit. Which ultimately, Alcatraz will be the one shoving a bottle in chiefs ass.

Meh, I'm still calling BS on several episodes, one of which being that one. Because if single-seated EVA vehicles can somehow take down the shields of a Covenant flagship with only a Gauss cannon and miniature Archer missiles, how isn't humanity kicking the Covenant's asses six ways from Sunday?

And there's also the huge issue of Dr. Hasley's hair being blonde in the episode, when it's been black in every single bit of Halo media that featured her.

And also, since when did UNSC Prowlers come with cloak abilities?

Okay aznassassin158, maybe chief can take a antitank missile to the face, but Alcatraz take a gauss round to the face
Right, so where's this proof that Alcatraz can do such a thing? And since when was taking a sniper round more impressive than taking an anti-tank missile? Last time I checked, sniper rifles were only able to take out infantry, while anti-tank missiles were designed to take out, well, tanks.

chief really cant, dont believe me, try it on easy mode in halo, he'll still go down
I don't really see how playing easy mode on Halo will provide proof, especially since Gauss rifles, you know, don't even exist in Halo. Herp derp.

that anti tank round was lucky, and he deflected some energy away
Woah, what? What the hell ever happened to the Chief "being too slow"?

in the bar fight alcatraz can go in cloak mode a break the chiefs neck, the only unarmored part of his body
Right, because cloaked Elites have had so much luck doing that. Wait...

then go into armor mode and kick him across the room, followed by jamming his foot into the chiefs ass
Riiiiight, the worst he can do is drain the Chief's shields in one kick. Then he'll deplete his energy doing said kick, and Chief can just whale all over his ass while he's trying to recharge. Because unlike Alcatraz, Chief doesnt exhaust himself after one punch.

One thing you didnt contradict was his real time module interface, Alcatraz will turn on nano recharge, armor enhance, threat tracer, all of his abilities and anything he wants by staring at his fingers
Right, staring at your fingers in the middle of a battle. Great tactic.

Chief also suffers the same faults as the N1, only one ability at a time
Uh, no. Chief can run, shield, and hit hard at the same time. And he doesn't need to recharge to do any of those things, unlike Alcatraz.

where as Alcatraz can do what ever he wants with his suit.
Except for delivering two strong punches in quick succession. Something that the Chief has no problem doing.

Which ultimately, Alcatraz will be the one shoving a bottle in chiefs ass.
I'm pretty sure he'll just run out of energy trying to even get that bottle past the shields.

Okay here it goes, Lockheart Slams Alcatraz with a round to the face, followed by a succession of Alcatraz breaking his neck, then it shows how much you know about halo, because in halo 3, the warthog has a gauss attachment, in halo reach, last battle includes a gauss cannon, also goes bu MAC, magnetically accelerated cannon, so really then.... why didn't he use a rocket gun or a splazer? Oh thats right gauss is stronger, and even frigates have them mounted on there nose, and what else the Pillar of Autumn is special because it fires 3 gauss rounds in succession without recharging what you think i know squat about halo?, another thing, chief "redirects" the blast, not the missile, and another, if you tap kick, Alcatraz still flips the car without draining energy, holding "kick" flips the car a sends it flying across the map, you can still flip cars without draining energy at all. And i meant chief cant swap between abilities besides running and shields, meaning no armor lock, or cloak, which is essentially doomed to failure like the N1, and finally, you haven't played Crysis 2 because you would understand mobility enhance and nano recharge pretty means infinite energy on the fly.

Prophet in an NS1 or NS2?

NS1 all he has to do is pop armor mode (i.e. default) and its GG for master chief. Health AND shield regen? Lol nice try MC - you only get shields :P Meanwhile Prophet with the NS1 can go strength, speed AND cloak. The NS1 is actually insanely OP if you think about it.

In the NS2 its pretty even. The shields (armor mode) goes down over time, but the health regens - i.e. the inverse of MC. I'd call it a tie.

Its the N2.

Just my two cents. THis is going nowhere lol.

One guy can regenerate.. over long terms.. cloak , thermal sights, onboard navigational computer.

One Guy is wolverine without claws, normal regen, closer to captain america than anything. Onboard full AI

Both are kool.

One can survive a Nano Bioweapon... the other clearly would not last a minute within range of a spire

The other can survive drops from atmosphere and simply get knocked out... the other would end up as a pulpy mass.

Id like to add that the only reason Chief survives re entry is because he went into armor lock, and ultimately was just such a bad ass that survived, but in no way was suppose to survive in the first place, and anyone,......... anyone, i know will agree with me,the reason he survived,..... he got lucky.

Through his chest/shoulder, idiot.

then it shows how much you know about halo, because in halo 3, the warthog has a gauss attachment
The M69 Gauss Cannon fires 25x130mm slugs at Mach 40 and is capable of destroying vehicles in one shot. The Gauss Rifle/Attachment doesn't, nor can it destroy vehicles. You clearly don't know squat about Halo OR Crysis if you though Gauss rifle is as strong as the M69.

in halo reach, last battle includes a gauss cannon, also goes bu MAC, magnetically accelerated cannon, so really then.... why didn't he use a rocket gun or a splazer? Oh thats right gauss is stronger, and even frigates have them mounted on there nose, and what else the Pillar of Autumn is special because it fires 3 gauss rounds in succession without recharging what you think i know squat about halo?
Do you honestly think a sniper rifle packs as much power as an enormous cannon that can waste Covenant and human battleships? Well, I just about stopped taking you seriously anyways...so...

And i meant chief cant swap between abilities besides running and shields, meaning no armor lock, or cloak, which is essentially doomed to failure like the N1
You've clearly never played Halo Reach if you think Spartans can't sprint and have energy shield up at the same times. Their energy shields are ALWAYS up, even when they sprint, punch, jump, or flip Warthogs!

and finally, you haven't played Crysis 2 because you would understand mobility enhance and nano recharge pretty means infinite energy on the fly.
Hmm *equips Nano Recharge and Mobility Enhance. Kicks a car. Depletes energy bar* Nope, my argument still holds.

Besides, Alcatraz is basically dead if his suit's power levels malfunction, since the suit is the only thing keeping him alive. And since his armor is susceptible to EMP, Chief can just toss a Power Drain, leaving Alcatraz gasping for air on the floor, while the worst that EMP can do to Chief is drain his shields. Not like he'll need shield while Alcatraz is dying and immobile.

I'll dig into this one.

Was through his abdomen and the round stopped within his body. probably will be used to repair the very piece of suit it dmged.

Spartans have an extremely effective air filter, which could stop Flood spores. No reason why it wouldn't stop the Ceph's bioweapon. In any case, the Master Chief has about 2 hours worth of oxygen if needed. The only thing he would fail at is kill all the Ceph in New York by reprogramming the spore. He'd have to do it the hard way. Then again, maybe Cortana would figure something out :P

If you read the book it will tell you the early versions of the dispersal virus in comparison to the one released by the main spire; would be like comparing a fetus to a full grown man.

Remember why the final spire destroyed even the mechanized pingers? theyhave filters so how come they were destroyed form the inside?

Either way, spores are not cells, they are made of cells. The Ceph virus is an intelligent cell. Which one is stronger would be dumb to debate it.

I'll just play Devil's Advocate since I have yet to read Crysis Legion, but Spartans also don't even need to breathe external air. Their suits can reduce carbom dioxide to create oxygen for about 90 minutes, which is how Spartans can survive in space for a limtied amount of time. And since the suit is vacuum sealed, I can't see how the Ceph spore can invade the suit.

As for the Pinger getting a'sploded by the rolled-back spore, I think it has an exposed port on its back. I may be wrong.

They both have a finite time of breathable air. but remember that is not used unless it is needed. Meaning the filters are opened unless they are needed.

The rest I wont argue. You gota read the book first.

aznassassin158, You stop taking me seriously...... dude, really, my point is that gauss tech is stronger than your so called anti tank missile, you contradict yourself by even saying Alcatraz takes it to the chest, another thing, you do know emp's don't wipe out electronics, they distort magnetism, which is what essentially what powers our electronics, but you knew that already? ...... last time i checked, the N2 was semi organic, and not clearly shown to be powered by electricity, chief however has a fusion core backpack, which i have no idea how he manages to extract power from, but is shown to be susceptible to an emp. Alcatraz's suit shouldn't flinch if it is truly considered "alive." And read it again, i didn't say he cant run and shield at the same time, i said he cant armor lock and sprint without swapping suit modules. And for the last time, read it right, kicking a car does not deplete energy, try it, or maybe cant since you don't actually own Crysis 2, and another, the gauss rifle isnt considered a sniper, its an annihilator that sends even nano soldiers flying across the map, oh wait, but you haven't played crysis wars, you don't know anything about that. Your afraid that someone actually knows about both heroes, and your trying to back up the what you prefer and not the facts on paper.

and further more dont try and act like I havn't read the books

Or try and play it off as if I haven't Ever played Halo

Your right, but were talking about chief, not spartan III's, and contact is essentially explained in wars which is still a few years before chief, here, we are talking about chief, not the haloverse. Don't forget about Helljumpers either.
