i will make a warrior/ merchant class. basically a primitive used car salesman that bareknuckle boxes on the weekends. i'll dwell primarily in the cities and only venture outward if it involves a quest to do with the economy. depending on how the class creation is set up. i may become an archer if it's compatitble with the merchant skill like it was in OB.

definitely gonna have to be a rugged Nord hunter who stays clear of the big cities unless its to trade

I will probably be a Nord to experience what the game has to offer and it depends on what type of character I will be, I don't know enough about the game yet.. I'm hoping to be an Adventurer, Merchant, (maybe a wife if they have them) , Just a normal nice guy ;D

Imperial Ranger. Marksman,1 handers,alchemy,and light armor. I'll send most of my time hunting and traveling, only stopping in cities for quests and to buy/sell provisions.

Khajeet, Nomadic Ranger, Bow/fists only. Heavy into Alchemy and a bit of Restoration as well, Light armor of course.
Nord, Skyrim Warlord, 2h Swords, medium armor, smith, no magic, all about the hack-n-slash.
Dunmer, Morrowind Refugee, dual-wield daggers/swords, light armor, destruction, a run-away trying to carve out a home in a harsh land, one Nord skull at a time.

Merari of Artaeum, the Altmer spellsword.
An exile. Highly prescient, not as kind as he lets people believe, always a goal in the back of his head.
Travels to Skyrim because his dreams and visions compel him too.
Later on he finds of a great doom placed upon him by the gods. He is the eternal hero against his will.
His previous reincarnations were the protagonists of Daggerfall, Morowind and Oblivion and he does not like that one bit.

the "partly stealthy" thing never worked out for me. i always got close to the enemies but, ended up getting spotted before i could get a stealthy hit in. specifically with heavy armor,

oh i want to go on the record and say i wish the leveling up system is like fallout. that way you could boost your sneak without all that pain-staking sneaking around when people are asleep.

Nordic Ranger. Adept in one-handed weapons, specifically the blade, marksman, and stealth. Two shortswords, for dual weilding. A longsword. And a bow. That is all since I am trying to keep his inventory semi-realistic. Two shortswords on his hips. Bow, quiver and blade on his back. Maybe a dagger in his boot.

Light-Medium armor and clothing. Long fur cloak.

Light beard and blonde ponytail, he will be young, upper 20's to lower 30's but have the grizzled veteran look. Tall, around 7 foot, since he is a Nord. No helmet as it hinders his perception.

He will live of the wilds. Hunt only when hungry, not for sport.

Aren't we all like that before we even learn anything? Seems much more realistic to me

But I get your concern over the loss of classes, but me being as optimistic as ever, it shall work out fine. Not perfect, but fine.

Anyways, my first character will be a Bosmer assassin that uses dual daggers and a bow. First faction I'm joining is the Dark Brotherhood

My Breton will be a battlemage. She'll be more of a lady knight, though. I'm not sure how it will play out in Skyrim, but in Oblivion, she typically wore a heavy briastplate, guantlets and boots along with a skirt and (sometimes) a hood.
