Who Woke up Alduin and the Dragons ?

Post » Mon Apr 25, 2011 1:31 am

So i'm not sure about who woke the dragons but i am really wondering who woke those dragons
but i got some theories who could woke them up

(Mythic Dawn)During the Oblivion crisis you were busy Defeating the Daedra's and Mythic Dawn Leaders while doing that some Survivors of Mythic Dawn have Escaped and The Mythic Dawn starting to rise again and Woke up Alduin and the Dragons for Revenge and killed the King of Skyrim and Captured a Special Artifact with alot of power

(Akaviri Invasion)The Akavirians are trying to strike Tamriel again by Sending Dragons from Akaviri to Tamriel Since Akaviri is The Land of Dragons or Waking up the Tamrielic Dragons Akaviri Fought many time against Tamriel

(Lore:Akatosh)the Tamrielic dragons is unknown - but many stories tell of Akatosh co-mingling with and organizing groups of dragons, although this representation may be metaphorical. If dragons still exist at all, they are never encountered by the mortal races. It has been suggested that they may be able to shapeshift in order to disguise themselves. It is rumored that Tosh Raka, leader of the Tiger people of Ka Po' Tun, has succeeded in transforming himself into a dragon, a rumor which is substantiated by Mysterious Akavir

(Alduin)Since Alduin is a God of Time he can probably jump to any time and jumped in the Time with his Dragons when the king was Assassinated

Fixed.

As for who woke them up, it was he upstairs neighbor Mehrunes Dagon, making all that racket 200 years ago.

But seriously, we won't know until the game comes out.

Who woke up the time god? I blame the Numidium for kicking him in the balls while asleep, followed by the release of Shor's heart, Mehrunes Dagon making a ruckus, and ultimately Martin for the rude awakening because Mehrunes Dagon was stepping on everything.

I love that you ignored the destruction of the Staff of Chaos.

Oh Arena, even in bull collaboration you still manage to be the weak link. :teehee:

Edit: Reformation of the staff, sorry I'm a little :foodndrink:

It has already been said that none of the past events (except maybe the Oblivion Crisis) caused the return of the dragons, they were just events that were going to happen and when they happened you would know that it was close to the time that they would return. They weren't the cause of the return.

snip

The Akaviri did not send Dragons.....ever.....only the Kamal and Tsaeci(IE NOT DRAGONS) attacked Tamriel

Dagon has appeared multiple times before, Battlespire, and Mournhold are two instances.....no Akatosh/Alduin..

look just look for Cipher 8's threads on Dragons and the other on Alduin and akatosh and all will be clear.

Dagon and Lorkhan hid Creation from Akatosh who would Eat creation to start anew.

Akatosh found out and got pissed because each elimination took longer and longer.

Akatosh turned the Leaper king into Dagon(disputed nord blubbery?) but he hated Lorkhan even more and "killed" him.

Creation Ties Akatosh and Aedra to Mundus/existence, Lorkhan got them all to do this, and because of this the Elderscrolls universe exists.

Akatosh made a pact with the Slave queen Alessia, the first Empress of the Septim line, the Amulet recognizes the pact, and so long as its worn, Tamriel cannot be overrun Daedra at their will.

Martin septim for some reason...breaks the pact/Amulet, becomes an Avatar of Akatosh and Bans Dagon to Oblivion but apparently the Barriers are restored.

????????????????????????????

We don't know.

Well....the Staff of Chaos has been...well...nothing of significance since the end of Arena. It was a MacGuffin that was never mentioned afterwards. The Numidium, huge. The loss of Shor's heart in the world, huge. Mehrunes Dagon stepping on Nirn and Martin breaking the amulet, huge. Staff of Chaos, wut?

To me, it's sort of a big mystery. And I kinda like it that way, because it makes the world more interesting. But my basic understanding is that after the Oblivion crisis, the empire fell apart and lost all of its organization, which created the window of opportunity for Alduin's dragons to start attacking and wreaking havoc, because the empire's defenses weren't anywhere near as strong as before.

This was obviously a nord fairytale, not to mention it isn't official lore (yet). I'm sure the fairytale will probably make it into Skyrim. However, we know it's just a fairytale because Mehrunes Dagon is an original daedric prince. It's a nice read though if anyone hasn't read it but it definitely isn't truth.
