I say Christopher Lee and James Earl Jones team up. That would make for quite the show.

I was wondering when someone would make a post on the voice of the dragon. Theres so many great voice actors to choose from, but I really did enjoy John Hurt in Merlin, but the voices of Harbinger and Sovereign are also a great choice, and who could forgot Kevin Grevioux. Ok there needs to be multiple voices for the different dragons using all the voice cast above plus the many other great people out there. (never going to happen I know) :(

I saw the video about dragons and I thought: "Tom Waits would be perfect". And the OP delivered. Well done.

Now that you mention it I'm sure 11.11.11 has something to do with some kind of conspiracy that will ultimately become a terrible movie! :ahhh:
Oh, aliens did it. Silly Nick Cage....

The second I clicked this thread, I had the intention of blurting out Sean Connery.

I am slightly disapointed.

Pauly Shore and Bob Dylan.

Otherwise, the black guy from the Cape. (Seriously get him off that steaming monkey arm of a show) He did the voice of Goliath on the old Gargoyles show (pretty sure) and has a terrific voice. Or, go for the raspy death rattle voice - can't think of a good example right now, but if you remember how the emperor spoke in Return of the Jedi - that fragile, fading voice that hides a being of horrible power etc etc.

We need more options. What about...

1. Bobcat Goldthwait
2. Gilbert Godfrey
3. Macho Man Randy Savage

But seriously. I would have to agree with whoever said Ron Pearlman. Good choice.

1. Lol I want to be able to understand them
2. Oh god I would have more reason to slaughter them then ever.
3. I disagree. Hulk Hogan fits better. OH YEAAAH!

Other.

Alduin/Akatosh/Avatar thereof should be voiced by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJTARvDHzNc&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxeQkk1UcdY&feature=related.

As for other dragons, nobody in particular. Anybody who can give feeling to the lines can just be pitched down, reverbed, and snarls/roars/etc added to. With the exception of Klauth, Neverwinter Nights did pretty well in this, if a bit excessive in the last department. Even the female dragons sounded convincingly like dragons, as opposed to just being in a cave of some sorts.

The dude is awesome at what he does and he knows his stuff when it comes to fantasy (and microbiology). Most epic part of Underworld was the first line by Grevioux "BLOOOODS!!"

If they were speaking English maybe and don't get me wrong I love Ron but he's not cut out for Draconian.

Yeah probably right. He has the deep richness in his voice, but lacks the sinister menace.

That guy who plays on the Dos Equis commercials.

If Harold and Kumar had any say, it'd be Neil Patrick Harris.

Interesting that all of the voices are MALE! (ya, I'm guilty too :slap: )

How about some female voices?

Amy Taylor? http://www.voices.com/people/amytaylor
Cybil Shepard?
Rita Morano?
Joan Cusak?

And ya, I'm thinking about the non Big Dude voice that by the lore is male (I think)

Christopher Walken as Generic Dragons and John Travolta as Alduin

"I been trapped here for hundreds of years and I finally got a chance to escape, oh my gawd!"

Seriously though, anyone good, they don't have to be famous.

I agree with Walken for the generics, but leave Alduin to Robin Williams.

Totally agree, I had forgotten that "BLOOOODS" moment from the first movie :P

But I still stand by Ron Pearlman especially since it would fit perfectly with his acting history... and he's worked with bethesda before.

The Blades often question him, just because they find him interesting.
His beard alone, has experienced more than a Bosmer's entire body.
He can disarm you with his looks...or his hands...either way.
He is the most interesting man dragon in the world.
