Who would survive longest in the Courier's shoes?

That svcks :( At least he fell in an epic battle with Legionaries though, it could have have been a boring death, like being swarmed by Fire Geckos.

Definitely Melee and Guns as Papa uses a knife and a submachine gun ingame. I'll throw in speech as the third - it struck me while doing the Khan quests a Motor-Runner how patient and diplomatic Papa is, despite oftentimes being blinded by his hate for the NCR. I'm really quite surprised how low his ingame Charisma is to be honest, considering how loyal his tribe is to him.

That sounds good to me, I added those tag skills to the OP.

Hey, Tycho, since Dean Domino died a while ago, could you add Cannibal Johnson to the OP (I plan on playing a young version), I think it would be fun to wear remnants armor without breaking character. Here's his wiki page: http://fallout.wikia...annibal_Johnson (which contains his SPECIAL stats)

Edit: OR, if you know where to find Sergeant Dornan's stats that would be even better because his wiki page doesn't have them.

I was hoping you join with another character, Dean had a good run iirc. I couldn't find Dornan's exact stats but you could just use the stats of a regular http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Enclave_soldier_(Fallout_2) and then call him Dornan. If you want to take Cannibal Johnson instead that's fine, just let me know whom you choose and I'll add him to the OP.

Heh, yeah, but the whole point of his character is that he has no idea what he's doing when it comes to science . Though you're right that excluding science makes it difficult to pick 3 appropriate tag skills, barter was something I thought of as well.

That's what I thinking, it's already hard to find tag skills for him, so science will have to do. It'll be kind of a "what the hell, why not?" play through anyways, I mean it is Fantastic we're talking about.

/snip

Wow, I'm pretty sure level 39 is the highest in this challenge right now, so it looks like Christine (and you) might end up as the winner. You've already outlasted around 9 other characters.

Caesar unchanged from yesterday unfortunately, since I haven't had any time to play New Vegas today. :(

I'll take Cannibal Johnson since an enclave soldiers' SPECIAL stats add up to 50, even with 10 intense training I can't get that. I'm planning on adding 2 points to his perception and 1 to his endurance btw (via intense training) since I am playing a young johnson after all.

Though it svcked to do this, cause then the DLC last like 20mins if you count out exploration.

Lucius has infact crucified Graham, and Daniel.....

He's recently walked back to the Mojave, though he offered to spare Daniel in exchange for the map, Daniel refused and thus was crucified facing Graham.
Though he's hoping this one doesn't bite them in the ass, with Graham surviving once again, though there are no tribals friendly to G and D alive in Zion... (he hopes) (though really they're both dead, i'm just throwing a story in there!)

I cant believe I never thought of this, I want to play as http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Desmond_Lockheart, it only makes sense that he would end up in Mojave at one point or another to finish his "Game" and Mr. House seems like he would be one of the players. So if I can start a new character I'd like to do him. His stats are also in the link.

Papa Khan regained conciousness in the town of Goodsprings after being bound, shot, and buried alive by Benny and some of his people. Only explanation is that they got high off of their own supply meant for the Fiends and can't be blamed, Papa himself had been there in his younger years... Also Wild Wasteland madness... yeah that'll do.

Spoiler

Papa decided to help the people of Goodsprings against the Powder Gangers as the town was considerably close to the Khan settlements in Red Rock, it'd be best to make friends with these people and keep them in the Khan sphere of influence, and not the NCR one. Papa also realized the importance of curbing the rise of any large gangs, such as the Powder Gangers so close to Khan raiding grounds - only the Great Khans were fit to control this part of the Mojave, and beyond. Papa also wanted to prove to himself that he still had serious fight in him (he'd need it if he was to usher in a new age of glory for the Great Khans after his people, with their Legion allies, run the NCR back to California and into the Pacific).

After aiding Goodsprings, Papa made his way to Primm, stumbling upon a small NCR force in the town. Successfully controlling his raging hate for the troopers responsible for the slaghter of many Khan children, elderly, and sick at Bitter Springs, Papa was able to get information from the look-out concerning convicts hold up in a hotel across town. Papa takes out his pent-up rage on the convicts and loots the hotel for any supplies and chems (don't want these to get into anyone's hands without them being sold by the Khan's themselves). The people of the town beg Papa to help them bring justice back. If it wasn't for the very real danger of the spread of NCR influence Papa would have left the town to rot, but he works out a deal with the NCR at their Mojave Outpost, while in disguise of course, to pardon a convict they had imprisoned. Now two towns were indebted to Papa and his Khans.

Papa continues his journey at Nipton, which he found to have been totally destroyed, its populace gone. He learned that his allies, Caesar's Legion, is responsible. Papa is pleased with the power that his allies clearly wield and daydreamed of the havoc that would surely be wrought against the NCR in the future. An added bonus: Nipton was infamous for the chems that could be found within its borders. The Legion, while an enemy of Chems in all their forms, proved to be a boon to the Khan chem market, giving Papa and his people a virtual monopoly on large Chem transactions in the Mojave.

More Papa Khan exploits

Spoiler

Papa looted what he could from the ruins of Nipton, pleased with his stop, and continued on his way, now headed towards the small merhcant town of Novac. The road to Novac was crawling with NCR and Legion patrols so Papa donned a head cover to lay low, only striking to aid his allies in small battles against NCR troopers if he was close enough.

When Papa reached Novac he purchsed a room at the local motel and made some quick trades at the shop located in the belly of a giant dinosaur, the towns main attraction. Papa purchased a ripper and That Gun and then cleaned the poor shopkeep out in a few games of Caravan (Papa learned the game when he was a young raider and soon became the Mojave's master, robbing any foolish enough to place bets against him).

Before moving on, Papa met with a local who used to be one of his people, Manny Vargas. Manny was distrusted by most of the Khans including Papa, as he joined up with the NCR soon after (though he was not at Bitter Springs). However, McMurphy, a loyal and trustworthy Khan, had always vouched for Manny so Papa wanted to judge the man's character himself. Papa, a master of diplomacy and one with a kind heart for all of his people, including those who strayed from the pack, found out that some of his people had moved onto the ruins of Boulder City. Papa, forgave Manny for his past with the NCR, something very hard for the old man to stomach, and moved on.

At Boulder City Papa found his people surrounded by NCR troopers. This at last was the moment to unleash all of his rage and hatred for the NCR and he led his people to victory against the facist scum.

After freeing his grateful Khans from the clutches of the NCR at BC, Papa continued on to Vegas, to exact revenge against the Chairmen who shot him and, ultimately, House and the Families of the Strip who had defeated his Khans so long ago. Papa buys some mods for his Ripper and a helmet at the Gun Runner's kiosk in Outer Vegas.

After entering Freeside, Papa soon learns of the conflict between the ruling gang, the Kings, and the NCR soldiers and citizens in the neighborhood. Papa pledged his support to the Kings against the NCR scourge and ran the facists out of Freeside. After their victory the King pledges an alliance with the Khans and makes Papa an honorary King - Papa reciprocates and pledges his allegiance as well.

Here's cannibal Johnson's story so far,

Spoiler
Before fleeing Navarro in 2241 as the NCR attacked the base, Johnson came across a time machine in one of the labs (I'm improvising as best I can) and stepped in side it, his power armor and heavy weapons were reduced to scrap metal in the time machine and he awoke in 2281 outside Navarro.

The Old cannibals Johnsons personality was somehow merged with his young personality so he thinks what the NCR is doing is right and his moods are unpredictable. After realizing he had no currency he took a job as a courier, his first job was from the NCR, he was hired to deliver a package with old world markings to the divide. Shortly after he heard of tales of dangerous storms and twisters there, he showed sympathy for it's inhabitants but didn't consider that it was his fault. He later traveled to the Mojave where he got his second delivery order to deliver a platinum chip to the strip. He was found by some great khans and a man named Benny in Goodsprings cemetery, benny shot him in the head and left him in a shallow grave.

When he awoke he was greeted by Doc Mitchell, after going through some medical tests, Johnson used the scrap metal from his power armor to create a suit of light weight metal armor. He helped good springs fight against the powder ganger with success. As he was leaving Goodsprings and saw Primm, where he could find a lead on Benny and get the platinum chip, he felt a strange passiveness in him and instead of seeking revenge he instead traveled to camp McCarran where he was going to assist the NCR however he could.

He found out about a spy in camp McCarran working for a group called "Caesars legion", he learned he was going to bomb the monorail, but Johnson stopped him, after helping the NCR with some less important problems, a friendly NCR soldier gave him a uniform which he could use to get onto the monorail which led to the strip where he figured Benny would be, after deciding his work there was done he took the monorail to the strip, not with revenge on his mind, but with curiosity, he wanted to know why Benny shot him.

When he arrived on the strip he went straight to the tops, he met benny there who comped him a suite where they would talk, but instead was double crossed, chairmen body guards were waiting in the suite, but with the use of a nearby pool cue he successfully killed them, as he left the tops an NCR MP gave him a note that said to meet with ambassador crocker on the strip. He acknowledged the message and went to him and offered his assistance. Crocker told him about a group called the boomers who the NCR needed support from and Johnson was to act as an NCR diplomat. He agreed to help.

That is the end of his story... for now.

He's also level 7 right now.

Lonesome road is finished.

Ran through all of my hand held explosives though. Ammunition is running low as expected, but it got the job done. Sadly ran out of Tiny Tots. Had to.. rampage through the last part. Never did like them having the high ground.

I'm doing the Fallout Tactics Chris. Only because the town he's the mayor of is where I live.

That sounds good to me, I think speech makes more sense than any other skill. I added you to the OP.

Lonesome road is finished.

Just out of curiosity, how close are you to finishing the game? If you survive the second battle of Hoover Dam I will consider it "finished" even if you go back to the game after that. I'll put one trophy :trophy: next to your name for finishing the the base game and one ribbon :ribbon: for each DLC.

I'll give it a go as Simms.

Good choice. I added you to the OP.

Okay, Desmonds story of how he ended up in Mojave:
After dealing with Professor Calvert, and another rival up north (That's all he mentions about another one.) He set his sights on his last rival in Mojave, Mr. House. He trudged his way across the wasteland by using numerous forms of transportation until he ended up in Mojave. He then set about to find a way to go undercover, by taking the job of a courier. (Little did he know that the Platinum Chip would have put him face-to-face with house.) But before he could complete the delivery, Benny and co. made their appearance. And now, I will be starting to play as him sometime today or tomorrow.

P.S. I like what you did with his stats, it definitely seemed like his intelligence should have gone up!

Trying to decide what to do for the Main quest. NCR & Legion is out of the question from their relations with the BOS. House, questionable even though he has you commit genocide on them & Independent is still questionable.

Off topic.

Looks like we are one post off from sending this to the graveyard. Who will get the honors.
