who would be the dragon's foot soldiers?

every bad guy needs some kind of grunt,

do dragons raise armys of undead upon the player, or trick necromancers to do so

does the dragon king of akavir follow alduin and send his tiger folk to invade?

does the civil war give you all the grunts you need?

will alduins army consist of soley dragons, but the games pacing of the main quest mean that we will be fighting a variety of opponents along it?

Considering he's literally only coming to swallow the world whole, I can't imagine him having many followers.

Though there are the humanoid beings that protect the walls that give you dragon shouts...

Alduin was supposedly worshipped as a god by ancient inhabitants of Skyrim - they're the Dragonpriest enemies we've heard about who can use the Voice.

That new type of elite undead - Dauger - Drauger - something that starts with D, I can't remember exacttly - but they seem to be the Dragon's human-sized envoys and soldiers.

I'm guuessing the combatting loyalists and rebels might take a swing at you a few times here or there. Probably the main people you will fight with the dragons and Alduin being the real enemy.

you say this...but look at OB...Daedra threaten to essentially obliterate and enslave our world and THEY had human "footsoldiers." So this is a legit question...As much sense as it makes for dragons to be these footsoldiers, there almost has to be something lesser. Like the Clanfear and Scamps were to the daedra community....otherwise the gameplay would become ridiculously redundant, and that is something I don't think Bethesda would do to us...

That was because they were promised a paradise for siding with Dagon. It was a cult.

Who knows, maybe there is a cult that follows Alduin. There's a cult that follows Chtuluu and that's about as evil as Alduin.
