I am pretty sure the remenants mentioned that the NCR did defeat the Enclave at Navarro, so I would have to say the NCR would win if they fought again. They have a MUCH larger population and technology can only do so much. In the end I would say that it would be a lot like the battle at Helios One, large casualties for the NCR but in the end they would win.

NCR...technology can only go far against sheer numbers. Although the NCR would probably have to retreat, regroup and blow up another town to win.

If we're talking Fallout 2 era, the NCR would win, but it would be a rough fight.

Now? The NCR would annihilate the Enclave. The Enclave doesn't really even exist anymore.

I have a bad feeling this is thread is going to turn into a crap flinging contest. Anyway during Fallout 2 the Enclave would have had a pretty good shot at winning I think, but now since there's hardly any of them left I'm pretty sure one squad of rangers could probably take them out.

I think that the pre-Fallout 2 Enclave might have had a good chance at taking out Shady Sands and prompting the NCR into collapse, hell I'm fairly certain that they could just bomb the [censored] out of it with Vertibirds. Post-Fallout 2? NCR, no-contest; it would be like fighting the Brotherhood, long and bloody but ultimately the NCR's numbers would triumph.
