well i just want to hear your opinions who would win in a battle the covenent from halo or the ceph in Crysis in my opinion i think the covenent would win because they have more evolved technoligy and weapons/vehicles

Ceph. They are actually strong and a challenge even on the easier levels. Also the Ceph Heavy > Hunter pair.

I think the Ceph would win, but like you said the Covenant do have a wide variety of weaponry but the Ceph are stronger and more durable, smarter, faster, it would be a good fight though.
