Namira because I like liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti
I'm not much for worship, but if I have to choose, Meridia and Peryite. With focus on the first, because who wants to end up in the Pits?
I have respect for Mehrunes Dagon, as change and revolution can be good things, and a soft spot for the bipolar Prince for the beautiful and creative side of madness. But the other side is most horrible and he's a package deal with the Prince of OCD, so I don't know.
It was a really, really, really, really, REALLY tough decision between Hermaeus Mora and Jyggalag. Both I would gladly surrender my delusional freedom to become an unstoppable, immortal, deathless sorcerer and champion in their service.
For this poll, I chose Jyggalag. I trust him more as he is incapable of deceit. He is crystal clear in his orders. And there are never any strings attached. Hail Jyggalag!
Power. Molag Bal takes the scared wimpy people, whips them into shape. They return strong, and never having fear of the mortal world. For a pragmatist, or someone whom is weak and desperately seeks power, Molag Bal is the answer to their prayers.
IRL? none of those, should be an option for nothing from TES. It just a bunch of myth.
I would have to go with Meridia on this one. Her tastes are very close to my own.
Azura. She's just the same as any other sweet-on-the-outside bunny boiler in that she does actually give a damn if you flatter her enough, and her realm is gorgeous. Sanguine would be a close second, but there's something about the guy I just don't trust. As for the likes of Molag Bal, if I was in the TES world and saw a supporter of his who agreed with his morals then it would be axe-tasting time. Hate that guy.
Actually it doesn't.Power does.
Also no1 said you would have knowledge about everything ,in existence ,ever, because you would go insane basically.
Just what you desire.Me personally i would want to know what is the perfect political system and every single of the still unknown physical and natural laws that govern the universe.
* * *
But yeah Azura is the one with which worshiping can translate to real both theoretical and practical benefit for you.
If I had to choose one.
Jyggalag! the one Daedric prince whose being represents something good... I suppose (o-o)
I know not much is really known about him, but if you're the Daedric prince of Order, I can't really see him causing chaos as just about all the other ones like to do.
But overall, I'd worship none; however I'd gladly worship Mara if she was a choice.
Eternal pleasure and I bet some of his realms are just as gorgeous if not more .
Daedric Princes represent extremes. If you believe it's a good thing that all lines must be straight... Well, who am I to stop you. I said I'd worship the guy who sends plagues, after all, Jyggalag can't be worse.
Well... That's the thing. He is one of the most chaotic Princes... Because it's not just Order he represents,.. it's also vicious hate towards chaos. As such, his quests for Order, usually involve him "destroying" Chaos. And when he starts fighting chaos by swinging his perfect sword all over the place... he cause more disorder... which then makes him go into an OCD temper... And Mehrunes Dagon gets all insecure.
But the end result is pretty with crystals! And lifelessness... HAIL JYGGALAG!
I was actually thinking of Peryite, just for the reason of being that one under-dog Daedric prince. Not much people pay attention to him, he's pretty layed back except from giving everyone his... diseases.
Weak in comparison to the other Princes is pretty irrelevant. Jyggalag could single-handedly take them all on, with one hand tied behind his back, yet still got cursed.
Peryite is powerful enough to have a significant impact on Nirn.[disease] In the end, that's all that is relevant.
I wonder who was it that was really talking to Florentius? In fact behind the Dawnguard itself Stenndar and Arkay seem sort of out of place encouraging a militant group even one that hunts vampires.
You're missing out. Especially now that you have a better understanding of the lore. When you do play it again, you'll get a bigger sense of appreciation for it.
I feel that out of all Daedric Princes, he's the closest to representing natural order of things. Well, maybe Hircine too if I stretch the definition. The problem is that he takes quite drastic measures to keep this order... But then again, don't all Princes? He's like a vaccine. Sends a disease to keep you healhy in the long run. Of course I don't particularly want to be afflicted, so maybe I should just stick to Meridia.
I was thinking of Jyggalag, but like Hev said, he's all crystals and lifelessness. Funnily enough, it means I'm naturally drawn to his sphere... But I also know it's not good for me. And he is mad just like Sheo, only in a different way.
I'm not so sure like one of the other NPCs said most of the time I think he does it for the attention but then every once in the while he'll say something that makes me reconsider... like how he instantly knows when someones been kidnapped and where they've been taken.
Couldn't be Sheogorath I don't recall him mentioning cheese at any point.
Oh man oh man... You are really talking my language now. Could this all be subtle clues to our perfect lord?
Or maybe, we're both insane!
Hail Jyggalag!
In Shivering Isle in Oblivion Sheogorath mentions cheese.
He also does so in Skyrim when getting the Wabbajack.
Another reason why I love him. Sums up my meta-player feelings. Taken to the full extent, he's very bad. But a little bit of him? I'd gladly enlist to be his champion.
