Who Would You Worship? IRL

Idk the more I think about it the more things in dawnguard seem to suggest either Auri-el or some one else has decided to become active again. I mean the Dawnguard is all sun imagery and sun based spells for fighting the undead and vampires and your then sent off to the chantry where you see that the Falmer connected Auri-el with the sun and even his bow is based on it. I mean you then stumble across an Elf that spells indicate is neither alive nor dead that sends you to kill someone who's betrayed non other then you guessed it Auri-el and then rewards you with the weapon of that same god and you even have the opportunity to aquire his shield.

I know but the crazy dawnguard priest that thinks Arkay speaks to him never mentions cheese so I don't think Sheggorath would be the one talking to him if hes not just crazy.

Which seems unlikely since he does seem to know things he shouldn't.

Every Prince is bad if taken to the full extent. But maybe I should reconsider.

Azura isn't technically evil. And I think there are few others.

For alignment on the daedric princes I think they align from somewhere to

Chaotic Nuetral, Nuetral Evil, Chaotic Evil, Lawful Evil, and then Evil.

But nowhere along the lines do I think all of them are inhirently evil. Sheogorath doesn't at all seem that evil to me. He's more like Chaotic Nuetral or Chaotic Evil. Extremely unpredictable in nature that could harm or help those he wishes. But Shivering Isles was a world where Sheogorath created something that the mad could live in comfortably and peacefully. He created a world for the insane and in some ways that could be considered a good thing.

+1. You're definitely right about Sheogorath. I've never thought of it like that before.

I really do need to play the SI again. I'll probably do it as a Khajiit, who believe that Sheogorath was in the second litter, and is literally a cat. :D I always feel inclined to write a backstory for my new characters, so it's always difficult starting a new one.

I also need to do Peryite's quest again. I literally know nothing about him, but he sounds really cool!

Well look at the world Sheogorath created. They are artist and thinkers. They may be mad and outside of the box, but Sheogorath accepted people for their flaws. Whether they were demented or maniacs. He still created a world where he guarded these people. And he only discarded them when they no longer were serving the purpose he needed them to serve. The people who were discarded were the people who could no longer aid in his world the way he envisioned it. And he even stops Jygalag from destroying his world. In some ways that saving a lot of innocence or maybe not so innocent lives, but in this world where mania and dementia rule innocence is in a different way than we think.

He also has a good sense of humor. Despite it being annoying and sometimes deadly I always just sorta of saw him as the chaotic santa claus of the daedric princes. He's jovial and kind, but he also can be chaotic and destructive. But that is what the nature of chaos is. It is the nature of chaos to be unpredictable in its nature, good, and evil to some.

Talking about character backstories, if you see my signature I began to post Rem's backstory on the forums. Maybe you want to support it and give a shout out?

It's interesting to note that Sheogorath is also the only Prince who's not an enemy of Ebonarm...even the God of War knows he's a cool crazy guy ;)
