I agree with NCR. I mean, Me house really only cares about his people of New Vegas and thats it. Thats not going to save the world.. Caeser's legion is nuts. But i also agree NCR has its ups and downs. An up is they are ou there for the greater good. But there ttrying to bring back exact government as today is. And how's that working out ?? not to good. But i still believe there should be rules and law. Just maybe not taxes and such. BLEH xP

I firmly believe in Mr. House. Why? Because he isn't interested in taking over the NCRs lands, and he wishes to restore the technological and general progress of mankind, in just seven years, he has revived the spirit of Vegas, in 20 years, I can imagine a rebuilt Vegas.

There's no question that House is the best option for New Vegas and the Mojave. He isn't blinded by territorial greed and the corruption so rampant within the NCR. His goals are for the betterment of humanity, to progress mankind into scientific discovery once again and to rebuild the old world WITHOUT its weaknesses. He would be a great despot, there is no doubt.

And the best thing is he'll last forever. Yes Man under your rule is great but you won't last forever, and then what? Who fills the vacuum? The despotism and ideals of long-term progress under Caesar are interesting and tempting but Caesar won't last forever either and I doubt very much that anyone within the Legion can take up the reigns of the Legion and drive it to the same goals as Caesar.

Independence under Mr House offers progress, peace and a better future, FOREVER.

Because there's nothing wrong with ''someone who only cares about the Mojave''. I'd much rather live under the rule of someone who knows where to stop expanding, instead of the territorial greedy NCR. Do you really think that they can protect the Mojave? They can't even win from the Fiends.
Another thing; I don't see what's so good about a republic if there are so few educated people. Because then you end up with ''thisguymademefacepalm''-Kimball (that's the nickname I gave him). If this guy gets voted into office then you can't deny that there's something wrong with the majority of the voters. He's one of the most evil persons in Fallout: New Vegas if you ask me. Why? Because he can't win from Caesar's Legion, yet he won't give up because he's a [censored] gloryhawk. And this [censored] gloryhawk costs the NCR lots and lots of soldier lives. Forlorn Hope is the perfect example. In fact, there's an ex-NCR soldier at 188 Trading Post who talks about how some of the troopers don't even get armor and a ''military training'' of two weeks. Yeah, that's how you'll win the war, thisguymademefacepalm-Kimball.

I agree with Caesars Legion's ideology of how to rule the post apocalyptic world.

I think it'd be stretching it to say I agree with the NCR, but of the main factions they're the ones I "object" to the least, so that's who I go with.

Not that I object to the other factions that much or anything. Game and all.

House IMO is the best hope for Humanity.

But the Legion is my favourite faction. I always root for the badguys.

NCR is my pick. I have always liked them ever since Shady Sands in Fallout 1, and I will always like them. They have done more to unite the wastes then any other single organization.

Last time I disscussed this in a similiar thread, I had only played as NCR, and I voted on NCR.
But now, when I have played all three campaigns, under the NCR, Legion and House command. And I still vote for NCR :celebration: :celebration: :celebration:

This, and what Colonel Martyr and Gre-nades and Ham wrote. If the NCR wins they will fall because of over expansion. If Caesar's Legion wins it will collapse after Caesar dies (just like Alexander the Great and Ghengis Khans' empires. Yes Man depends on the courier's skills/abilities/morals which are an unknown for canon purposes. Even if good for a government, it would probably fall after his death - and there is the Skynet issue. I like the Followers of the Apocalypse, but they are too fragile to run a government. They don't have the stones to control people the way a government needs to. Peace, love, and puppies won't cut it; especially in the wasteland. The Kings are controlled anarchy - rule of the gun prevails. BoS care only about oiling their nuts and bolts, and polishing their rifles. Great Khans are raiders/drug pushers. Once their numbers recovered they'd be back at it with a vengence. (Yes I know about them running off to Wyoming, but that requires the courier for it to happen.)

The NCR won't fall. If they take New Vegas, they will have a immense tax income from Vegas's resort operations, they will have a ton of more funding.
