Actually, Orcs are often "honourable" in games. More often, they are evil, but not always. Usually pretty misunderstood, too, similar to Ur.
But yeah, I hated how they wheren't... savage enough. they where too soft. I think they should make orcs more muscular and distorted, similar to WoW, but a lot less exagerrated.
I guess we're from different generations or something, I keep meeting people here who have no concept of how evil they're usually portrayed. I've been playing RPGs since the late '80s (D&D, Melee/Wizard, Runequest, various RPG video games).95% of the time orcs are brutish, evil, and would rather eat an elf or human than converse with one. If one of my tabletop buddies from long ago decided to play a "good" orc, it would be under the assumption that he would constantly be trying to prove himself. Nobody trusted an orc. That's just the way I've always played it.
So misunderstood is a good word. I also agree with you about the 'not savage enough" comment (this goes for Argonians, too). TES has orcs running bookshops, fer cryin' out loud!
