Who'd you marry?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 6:42 am

I married http://images.uesp.net/2/20/SR-npc-Sylgja-face.jpg, I was considering Mjoll for awhile, but I wanted to keep her as a companion, so, I met this nice lady in Shor's Stone, and we got hitched. She now resides at my mansion in Solitude, she has been having issues with my housecarl who also lives there though...I think she is jealous.

This got me thinking...

Housecarl + wife + female companion = "AWWWW YEAAAAAA"?

Edit: Oh, and I'm eyeing Ysolda from Whiterun.

Jenessa :sadvaultboy: Then I found out you can't re-marry.

Edit: Jenessa is that Dunmer assasin sitting in a corner at the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe we ought to move to Whiterun, she can meet Lydia. 4 People in one house...sister wives anyone?

I married Ysolda just for the achievement, as soon as the ceremony was over and everyone started to leave, I cut her off mid sentence as she was asking where I wanted to live, by stealthing, and slitting her throat from behind. I then proceeded to transform into a werewolf, feed on my dead 'wife' and slaughter everyone in Riften. And that's who I decided to marry

Muiri, I think that's her name.
Maybe I'll cheat on her with Aela.
RELOAD THE GAME AND MARRY AELA INSTEAD.

Ysolda. Although that makes the quest A Night To Remember a bit odd.

Does anyone know if it's possible to divorce someone in Skyrim and, if so, how? Not that I want to ditch Ysolda, but... *cough* You know.

Vilkas, although he hasn't made his way back to Solitude yet so I'm getting kind of suspicious...

My Imperial character married Shahvee. The backstory I made for him was that he was posted in Black Marsh and Elsywer for a significant portion of his previous Legion service, hence his 'preference' for Argonian lasses.

Yeah I wanna know if you can change their clothes before I marry someone.

I noticed that Shahvee changed her outfit when I sold her some fine clothes. I assume your spouse wears whatever is most valuable in their inventory, just like followers wear what has the highest defense rating.

I initially selected marcurio in Riften until I learned he lived at the bar. My whole purpose for selecting a spouse was to get a house! I noticed a blacksmith in Riften who had a nice two-bedroom place. So I snaged him and his house, then hired marcurio to follow me around. Worked out great. Turns out the blacksmith does good business and gives me a share of it when I ask!

Apparently everyone but the Dragonborn is allowed to be a polygamist. Double standard, I say!

One of these two! Strong girls with warpaint and scars ftw!

Don't know which yet, since I wanna keep Mjoll as my tank and I would like a wife at home in Whiterun as well, but Aela would be the perfect roleplaying follower for a sneak archer-hunter, since she also is one.

My Imperial character's name is Antonius Curio.

You can guess who he married.

Yeah, she's great. She can follow you around too, but I won't risk it D: .
