Who do you think is the real bad faction in NV

There are many factions in New Vegas, I know a lot of you have played different ones but who do you think has the bad character/faction ending.

the only "bad factions" I know of for sure are the raider factions (fiends, Jackals, Vipers, Scorpions) really.

With the possible exception of the Followers of the Apocalypse, it's hard to call any of the factions "good". I think that's a plus actually, since it makes the story much more nuanced.

The NCR are technically the good guys, but only in a "Hey, at least we're not the Legion" sense.

The game forces you to make tough choices and even siding with the NCR felt like the lessor of two evils.

The Legion. I don't hate them, but they look like the most perfectly fitting ''evil'' characters you could ever imagine.

Sorry Ceasar.

They are all evil.

Imperealistic NCR

Slavers and savages from Caesars Legion.

Lifeless Mr House who doesn't care about human lives.

And Anorchistic you who brings chaos and anarchy to NV.

The only 'good' factions are the people of Goodsprings,Bos and The Remnants.

The BoS are good?

Otherwise, the Legion looses points for slavery and crucifixions, ya know.

I haven't played any of the other Fallout titles, but it's hinted at that the Remnants have a dark past. Arcade Gannon seemed to have some regrets over past actions.

Regarding the BoS, there is one very evil act that a group of them do in game, that you will discover if you finish Veronica's quests.

Otherwise, their usual behavior is confiscation of energy weapons from "ignorant wastelanders", as per their codex. This is not seen in game, but usually in one of the end slides.

I would consider them mixed, as far as good/evil.

The Remnants are former members of the Enclave. Which group has a rather dark past..."some problems and a few deaths involved"... :whistling:

genocide of a band of Samaritans?

And the factions in NV is like the races in Starcraft

Legion = Zergs. Collective mind, absorbs other cultures

Mr. House = Protoss. A technological society, cold.

NCR = Terrans. Basically what we are today.

Well, pretty much all of the problems the Mojave is suffering can be directly traced back to the Legion, NCR, or House. Not saying they're the bad guys, but I'm having trouble coming up with any really major problems that exist in New Vegas that the big three aren't somehow responsible for.

House to a lesser extent than the other two, as most of what he's done has made things better, like with the Strip no longer being a war zone, but he's ruined his share of lives as well. Heck, pacifying the Strip is what turned Freeside into a slum.
