After scanning all the who are your new tag along posts (compainions), It occured to me that on the surface most seem pretty cool and that 1 or 2 to would surly fit into everyones chosen playstyle... Well it got me to thinking and raised a few red flags ... Perhaps I am just Paranoid but if while playing hardcoe mode after a nights rest with say my new follower Raul in tow I notice much to my surprise my horded stock pork and beans is gone and for the next two hours I am travelling with a gassey ghoul i may start to supect foul play...

Sure would be funny for them to add in a follower who would rob ya blind given the chance or if you treat em like dirt they may put a finisher bullet in you and try to switch sides.. (but that would be just evil... Kind of like the thought that yes the game has a definate end and there is a time limit again heh but they would never do that again right??)

I probably won't trust anybody in the game.. I'll be thinking there's going to be some twist that no matter what side I choose to side with something will happen that I don't want to happen. I won't know about companions until I play the game and hear their voices and get a feel for the characters.. I really can't tell until I'm actually playing the game.

Op are you asking about companions or factions? Seems like you were referring to companions but the replies seem to be faction focused?

Huh To be honest I picked Raul because it rhymes with Ghoul.... I Was actually unaware of his nationality (even though i saw his Bandit costume) still are you quite sure he is Mexican or even Spanish as my bet would be he is in fact Italian following in the steps of all good spaghetti westerns.... Heh heh.

And My main aim on the post was charcters themselves... if the are well trustworthy hehe been along time in game since i was backstabbed by a party member.. ( Jagged allaince and maybe it was Icewind dale can not reamber for sure the bounty hunter guy turns on ya heh) And well fallout has given us some err less than desirable types as a series whole.. just thought it would be refreshing to to wake up and see who ever with fancy lad snake cake all around there mouth trying to look inocent while saying musta been a molerat that got into my pack... So now you have a choice put up with them filtching and hope it goes no further as you like the added firepower or end the realationship with the working end of your chosen tool of maiming... since the did away with Karma effects on them (err I think) than maybe just them being snobby if they do not like the road your going down..

Agreed both, I often find my self liking one member of an organization, and despising another.
