Who is your faorite character?

Post » Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:18 am

Mine is, YES MAN!!!

I met him for the first time (level 25) and was a bit creeped out when I walked into Benny's apartment. I mean, seriously. Who wasn't creepy walking into a room only to find a robot with a creepy smile on its face.

But I found absolutely every thing he said friggin' hilarious. I think I'll be siding with Yes Man my first playthrough, he is funny.

Who was yours?

Jules in NV's north side, just has that perfect wastelander vibe going.
Or Julia Farkas, due to being a nice, strong, intelligent helpfull person.

Or Cass, if it was not for the fact that drinking is implied overtly and heavily about her.
As again she's smart, grounded and knowledgeable.

1st Favorite: The Courier. All out, no doubt, shoot'em out, with a Brush Gun!
2nd Favorite: Raul Alfonso Tejada. He's pretty funny and he is armed with a .44, not my choice, but its good enough. (He is my current companion)
3rd Favorite: Mr. House, he's not a bad guy, he's the ruler of New Vegas and I have respect for him.
4th Favorite: Veronica, she's a good companion, with a Power Fist (I gave her a Ballistic Fist), and her enthusiasum is surprisingly not annoying
5th Favorite: Boone, a good sniper, good companion, not annoying, and he is serious, which makes him a gotta-have companion, plus, his perk is useful in caves, nighttime, and sniping.

I dunno, Sir Inculta, Dead Sea and Raul I guess.
And that's only the top three.
Too many awesome characters in New Vegas.

Well, for me, it is a toss up between Boone, Veronica, and Cass for their attitudes

The King - The man is ultra cool.
Marcus - You good old sensible mutie.
Raul - Mexican gunslinger with humor. What more do you want?
Cass - For the attitude.
Boone - Scarred soldier may be the oldest story in the book but still he's great.

I'm gonna go with Boone because of the choices he had to make in life, he's got depth of character in more ways than one.

Doc Mitchell because he saved me.
Boone because he needs me to save him.
Marcus because he wants to save his people without violence and his voice is like an old friend.
The King basically has a good heart and cares about people and because he's the King.
Sassy Cass and Raul just because they're both so sassy....and dear Arcade, just because he needs something he doesn't have.

Red Lucy, after I, whilst she was awaiting me to ravish her, pickpocketed away her Duster and weapons, after said ravishing, she returned to the spotlight clad in sixy sleepwear.

I'm gonna go with Legate Lanius.

While the legion certainly got shafted in terms of content, they definitely got the best characters.

Chief Hanlon.

NV has a really strong cast of NPCs. Very few feels generic or overly archetypical.

Veronica. I like her comments and her great melee skills compliment my ranged preference.

My favorite is Joshua Graham and we haven't even seen him yet lol.

They say hes even greater than Legate Lanius that automatically makes him awesome.

Hmmm... top 5 it is then. Fallout NV has alot of characters I like!

- Corporal Betsy just makes me lawl with her lisbian shenanigans
- Chief Hanlon has some damn good stories
- Veronica makes me happy inside
- The King is the king, except unlike most, he cares for others
- Julie Farkus is such a great human being

Honorable mentions are Arcade, Marcus, Dhatri, Rex, and of course...
