For me, Joshua Graham and Rose of Sharon Cassidy were the most iconic symbols of New Vegas. They both were very well written and voice-acted.

Cass' story really was the embodiment of NCR in a nutshell while Joshua Graham was the poster boy of how endlessly ruthless the Legion is, both in his punishment and recurrent behaviors of past demons.

I know I always knock on Chris Avellone, but I got to give him props on writing Cass' story.

I've got to agree that Cass and Joshua Graham are well done. But there are a few characters you didn't include that I enjoyed just as much albeit in different ways.

No Bark Noonan in Novac. Can't have a western with out the crazy old coot;).

Marcus for old times sake (shame you couldn't recruit him like in Fallout 2).

Randall Clark (the Survivalist). Admittedly he was dead a couple of hundred years before the game but still a well crafted character story.

I put down as many characters as the poll would allow. I know there's a lot of characters I am missing but making three polls would have looked ridiculous so I expect a lot of write in votes. The Survivalist was a great story, took me forever to find all his terminals the first time and his rifle....about 20 hours but it was worth it.

Cass and Joshua Graham for sure

Chief Hanlon was cool

Boone was cool too

As companions go, I think Veronica takes the cake...(her voice actor did win an award for her role as Veronica afterall)

I like Caesar because he is ruthless, yet he is very educated..I like characters like that (ie Hannible Lecter!)

Also like Lanius whos not on the poll for some reason because he isnt what everyone makes him out to be...He actually does care about the Legion and its soldiers.

Toss up between Caesar, House, Benny, the King and Lanius.
