Who is your favourite child to adopt?

Post » Thu Jan 12, 2017 10:42 pm

I'm starting another playthrough and was thinking of adopting two children, which got me thinking...who should I adopt?

I looked up the available list and it turns out that should something unfortunate happen to Lemkil in Rorikstead, the twins Britte and Sissel will get packed off to Honorhall Orphanage. I was half considering making this happen to adopt Sissel and give her a more enjoyable life while leaving Britte to rot in Honorhall given her attitude, but then thought your spouse will change their tune on marriage, so does Britte become less unpleasant on adoption? If anyone knows, that would be interesting little side info :)

So who is your favourite child to adopt when you do? And where do you house them? Children can be vanilla or from mods

Hroar and Lucia...

I'd adopt Sissel too, if her dad ever dies accidentally. I won't kill him myself.

The game wouldn't let me adopt an Orc child, so I made a mod. She lives in the Orc Stronghold I built, and I had to create a mod to do that, too.

She can't be a real Orc child, though. She actually http://ghastley.org/Skyrim/images/UziReally.jpg without being told to do so.

That's just wrong. I thought Orcs get a +20 skill in being slobs.

Sofie has my admiration for the way she handles her situation. I always buy flowers from her and i will adopt ther, but first, my mage character has to catch up her husband. Then i'll proceed with adoption on both characters.

Lucia and Sofie. I don't see how anyone can fail to adopt them. :/

Where do I house them? Everywhere and anywhere! I have 9 houses 8 vanilla and 1 custom so wherever I feel like!

I cannot remember her name, it's the girl in Whiterun with the flowers.

That would be http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lucia.

Only once I adopted both Sofie and Alesan, but now I always adopt Sofie who can be found laying on the ground in Windhelm during cold nights and I felt pity for her.

Alesan has a sleeping corner indoors in Dawnstar while Sofie is sleeping outside.

Talos, Lemkil is such a gigantic [censored].

I adopted Sissel so she can actually have a good father and get away from her terrible sister. I also adopted Sofie because I felt so bad for her out in the cold of Windhelm just trying to sell some flowers with her parents both dead. I would try to adopt a couple others if I could, but Sissel and Sofie are the ones I feel strongest about. And now I'm the best damn Argonian dad. I should get a mug that says that.

This is why I was wondering if Sissel's sister would drop her attitude post adoption....seems cruel to split up twins.

Although there is a mod that would allow you to adopt as many kids as you have room for across all your properties...some mod added estates give you room for every child in skyrim plus a few extra

I've just got my mitts on some mods to allow me to cart the kids round with me, training them to fight, and give them armour so they're protected. If you're adopted by the ultimate warrior/smith/enchanter/alchemist who munches dragon souls for breakfast then you can at least get to see them in action and pick up a few tricks yourself. Especially when they give you a dagger of a sharpness that could put The Subtle Knife to shame.

I would adopt Sophie too, but thought it'd be cool to have a male kid to balance Lucia.

It'd be nice if I could take Grelod's job and run the whole orphanage. Maybe turn a character into Mary Poppins :P

I usually only adopt Lucia, since she′s the most lost one, learning how to beg instead of selling flowers or working for someone. I tend not to adopt anyone else beccause I don′t want my kids fighting over my succession line. :P

I've adopted the girl in Windhelm and the boy running around Dawnstar. Figured I'd get the homeless children out of the freezing cold. The girl in Whiterun at least other kids to play with and mild temperatures to endure.

I'm not apologizing... I'm a slob myself. Just not an Orc :P

Cleaning is overrated... And you're in the UK. I bet you don't even have a lawn. Another overrated activity.

Sofie the flower girl. I always made sure to buy a poison plant from her when ever I see her.

Nothing wrong with that!. Just not every nook and cranny outside of oneself...

There should have been more Mer and Beast kids btw... it's kind of sad that players had to mod it themselves.
