I've got 78 armor Rating all of a sudden and I don't know why, here's my LO, and I mixed up Damage Resist and Armor Rating, I've got 78 armor rating all of a sudden

I usually have no idea what could cause this, but have you tried using http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21862 on yourself to look for effects or items that could be causing it? Maybe a hidden armor that raises your AR quite a bit, or a magic effect that increases your AR without a shield effect?

Hm. I remember using a mod that changed your AR so that it is more accurate in terms of how much it blocks, and I remember it having a de-installation process(run a line in the console, wait for cell respawn, or something like that.)
You wouldn't have been using that mod, would you?

You haven't just mastered your armor skill for whatever type of armor it is have you?

I know with Light armor, at one stage or another you get double the protection you used to have if you're wearing all light armor, I can only assume Heavy Armor would have something similar.

It's in the damn ini shield bug fix set it to 0 to fix the problem...
