Hmm... To be fair:
Strip - district of Vegas.
Freeside - district of Vegas.
Nellis AFB - tribe.
Novac - settlement.
Goodsprings - village.
Primm - reststop.
Cottonwood Cove - border
Mojave Outpost - border

/imo

To be even fairer though, Nellis is hardly a tribe in the tribal sense, they have school rooms, a physician, a basic but still organised armed forces supported by robots and a mess hall, pressumabley ratoin based system of getting food. Pretty organised.

And again to be fairer, the Mojave Outpost had more or equal merchants and services and people than Big Town, Cantabury (even including the travel merchants), Republic of Dave... Same for Goodsprings and Novac

Indeed, Ser Smert... The Templar's let you go... this time...

*omnious music*

*His Mage and Morrigan now have a new target for there magical pranks. :P*

Also what Facehugger said.

Also I don't see how FO3 is any better, you only have one storyline, and no choices. I guess you just like repetitive grinding of random bad guys exciting. *shrugs* Thats gets me more bored then the FO3 story.

I wouldn't call the Boomers tribals at all, they are more along the lines of an elitest settlement that hates outsiders. (Elitest since they see non Nellis people as Savages.)

Dunno what the exact definition of a tribe is but I'd say Boomers are part of a tribe.
Ciphers were gonna be a tribe in Van Buren and they were pretty advanced with knowledge of stuff.

Even if Mojave Outpost, Goodsprings and Novac had more people than FO3's settlements I'd still call them as I see them.
Being border, village and (temporary) settlement (?).

Really, a tribe is more or less a group of people with their own identity and common heritage, so pretty much anyone with a 'theme' is considered a tribe. BoS, Boomers, primitive behaving tribals, etc.

Edit: left out some words by mistake

Funny you should say that, I am on the pc running 108 mods and plugins and am pretty much bored [censored]less. The dlc's won't be any help, I broke down and bought Dead Monkey and really have no desire to play it

What. Seriously? What's the difference between a settlement and a town? Or a village and a town? Or a tribe and a town?

I mean, if we're only discussing settlements with, say, ten people, we've got Nellis, Primm, Goodsprings, "Vegas", and the Mojave Outpost. But that pretty much lets out all of the FO3 settlements except Megaton, Rivet City, and Paradise Falls.

If we're discussing locations with vendor/healing services, we've got "Vegas District", Goodsprings, Novac, and I believe Nellis once you've completed the quest. Then you've got military bases like HV, McCarron, Forlorn Hope, and The Fort, which all have both services. Possibly the Dam too, but I don't know if there's a doctor there or not.

But in Fo3 we've got Megaton, RC, and PF, and the Citadel, and that's about it.

If it's just vendors with no need for medicine, we can add Primm to the list. And... Meresti station I think?

F:NV really has a similar feeling to the originals, real pizazz, it nailed the Fallout wasteland feeling, it was awesome when i beat the game and saw all the consequences of my choices and actions after the battle, this game fit very well as a Fallout game, must be due to its high Charisma stat.

Yes i read your "comment", but i never insulted or made any comment about your post, you are the one who did that.

@Epicness, I though his post was a good frame for an opinion of FNV, and applied my opinion, are you saying i am not allowed to post my opinion if i write it like that? I never once commented on his post, but you are free to comment on mine, slightly disappointed that you offered no rebuttal, only claims that i "edited" his post, which i did, but i dont see how that is offensive, it seems more like a compliment to his ability to construct a sentence.

Why do you insult me, i have yet to insult you. I am trying very hard to present my opinion in a non-insulting manner. Please, if you would return the favor. I don't see how it was snide, i never insulted your opinion, nor did i mock it, mock requires mimicing, i copied the format of your post, deeming it a proper way to construct a sentence, and used it as a base to post my opinion, careful not to insult FO3 or you. It was a response, a counter, and opposing opinion, but i did not insult you, i wished for discussion, but you are quick to bring hostility to this, but your responses seem to lean more to personal attacks than points to support your opinion.

Got bored of the game freezing and glitching out quests.
The 'big patch' did gameplay tweaks but not enough - explosives are still laughable, Enemies glitch into the floor , pressing vats wont go into vats sometimes, and mainly it did NOTHING to solve the frequent and completely random freezes. There also been no random encounters has led to further playthroughs getting stale very fast and so the game has gotten boring much much faster than fallout 3 did for me.

You seem to insult me a lot, i dont believe i have insulted you directly, or even very harshly indirectly, for that matter. To answer your question: No, I do not "od on snide", I merely post on a forum. It was merely a small amount of satire, but you are quick to dramatize it.

Edit, i see your post below this one, are you saying you are intentionally insulting me for clashes we have had on other threads and for my reporting you for making vulgar statements? I do believe that i against the rules.

It wasn't a joke, maybe the format was, but it was my opinion, and I don't attack FO3, i debate it's credibility, but this is not the thread to discuss FO3.

Insulting someone is not a very good way to get your point across. Changing someone's post is a very common thing to do on these forums.

Now, FNV really nailed the post post apocalyptic feel. I am very impartial to the NCR, because I helped them back in FO1, which by the way, I played AFTER FNV and FO3.
