I got bored of it but now I've come back to it. There's just not much out there that I really want to play right now. It's all the same stuff, no games out there have the same kind of exploration or loot. Plus, I like to be able to build a character not just play one.

I've done about 5 or so playthroughs. Each one with different weapons, perks and so worth. I think my next one will be a cowboy, then a heavy weapons guy :gun:

I'm kinda burned out in it, but there's still some stuff that I'm going to do.

I'm on a break because I've done 8-9 playthroughs now, done everything (Minus a complete NCR/Legion playthrough, which Im not really interested in doing) there is to do. I'm not bored of it, I've merely overplayed it. I'm merely taking a break.

Yeah I'm already getting tired of New Vegas but I don't have that same feeling with Fallout 3. I could play that game and it's still fun to play and doesn't get old unlike New Vegas where I have to pass by that Police station for the millionth time.

I've created about 12 characters......I'm still not bored with New Vegas yet, maybe because I have multiple saves of my Level 35 character in which he kills people with C4. Very fun.

Bored... bored... am I bored... Well.. not really. I mean, sometimes I just going around, killing stuff. Other times, it's spawning enemies in a mod. Other times, it's experimenting with the weather, adjusting colour adjustments, etc.. to find a new, unique look for the game.

A lot of what's keeping me going is mods but at the same time, it's been me playing the same ones for quite some time. Getting my character to level 35 is also keeping me going. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to level up as XP rates are modified. So yeah, a lot of things keep me going.

@Epicness1 Uh, I am confused, you mean you aren't Role-Playing in a Role-Playing Game? Maybe that is why you are bored, you got to RP in an RPG, thats half the fun. The other half is saying: "You've gotten farther than you should have, mutie."

That's what I'm thinking. I can see how that can be fun... pretending your Franky... what would be awesome is if you could change the character grunts to Frank Horrigan voice samples.

Eh, I pretty much Schizo my RPs. I just play around and RP what suits my fancy at the moment. At one minute that character is a stealthy agent, playing Caesar loyal pet 'destroying' Houses' robots while truly serving House, at other times, he's a rich man basking in the lights of Vegas, leisuring at the bikini clad ladies at The Tops. Etc Etc

(Sadly, I wish there were more DLC's right now, otherwise i would not be so bored myself after my 7th play through, even on very hard mode.)

Power Fist, Bloody Mess, and RPA, completely destroyed the Legates Camp, i even gave Frank Horrigan's dialogue to the TV screen in real life.

Yup, that's me too. Sometimes I don't touch the game for a couple days but then some video/geck idea strikes me or I just miss that grumpy guy with the red beret and I fiddle with it a while. Plus there's nothing else I'm interested in right now. Not even the DLC's...I'm in no hurry to get those.

So...bored of the game in terms of going from A to B to Finish Line? Yeah, a while ago (not uncommon for me at all in rpg's). But it's the other things that keep me going back.

:fallout: i gave up wandering around running into the same gecko near primm and the same bark scoprions near hidden valley etc, not only is the game boring after a couple playthru's because of the lack of things to do, even combat is weak, you're out in the open wherever you are on the map, all the ncr camps and the few legion outposts are just tents, they should of put in tons of ghostowns with factions in em, so you can sneak around and fight enemies, its not a lot fun attacking ncr or ceasers legion in their camgrounds, no good places to hide or set traps or anything, FO3 had tons of good battlezones in the game, dupont circle, la enfant plaza, both sides of the capitol building, takoma industrial, georgetown, falls church etc. all those places had buildings and rubble to sneak around in. vegas is just desert.

West, maybe you should try Role-Playing, instead of playing the game like some sort of shooter, with targets popping up on every ledge.

It's funny you complain about predictibility, ytet all those locations were predictable battlefield with level scaled loot. :spotted owl:

I wish that people cared more about the actual writing of a story and less about the amount combat in it.
