I don't like your poll options.

I pre-ordered the guide on amazon, and it's not due until after Skyrim releases. What am I to vote?

Sorry i dont have the cash cow mentality.

I`l buy the games but refuse to contribute to the cash cow mentality of dipping wallets to screw money out of my so called "loyal" customers.

after years of feeding the bethesda machine with my hard earned i fully expect to be given the game guides as a thank you.

because they really appreciate thier customers......dont they ? ;)

Really? Prima takes the time to write a 656 page guide, and you expect to be given it free? It is only 15 dollars.

If bethesda wanted to screw money from there customers, it would be a 50 page guide for 20 dollars.

As a seasoned gamer [30 years and counting] i know when the guides are printed, which means i know the guide people are buying is very flawed and incomplete.

i also know that as somenen who waits to see whats being sold as a game,i can get much more info from the forum and wiki when i decide to buy a few days or weeks later.

its not a "hate bethesda" thing,i just feel its about time we had some recognition as buyers and maybe a little appreciation shown for not joining the rabble of thieves who get the game free.

now,if its a paypal link on a modder site, and that sites given me huge amounts of gametime from mods,i click that link and send at least £20 to them with no quibbles.

ps..a quibble is a gay tribble ;)

I love reading through the guide.I hope it's as good as Oblivion's.That one was written by a bunch of comedians. It was entertainment all by itself.

Im most definitely not going to buy the strategy guide. It can defeat the purpose of finding things out on your own.

I pre-ordered the CE strategy guide online at Gamestop. Hopefully they'll keep their street date delivery guarantee since I added overnight shipping, so I'll have the game and the guide on day one :celebration: .

I don't need a strategy guide. I have a brain, and I have the internet.

Nevermind that they are a business and have to stay alive and do better than okay to bring you more quality games.
Yeah they should just give us stuff because we like their work.

Also; no. I am not buying the strat guide. I did with Oblivion and it killed it for me, knowing where everything was.

I wasn't going to, but then I saw how big it was and the on-line map that comes with the CE edition (I love those things) and I went ahead and got it. I had some store credit anyway so no real lost. If I would have had to come up with the money I may have waited to see if it was really needed.
