Post » Sun Jan 23, 2011 3:55 am

Pretty much to let you guys know even though its clear as day that its not gonna be called brink the first week, its gonna be called. Bug vs anger:battle of the skinny operatives. At least on multiplayer. Agree or disagree?

enh, I don't know, it's seeming like there may be a pretty even mix. Although that may just be wishful thinking..

I'll go through in single player first so that when I play online I actually know where things are and what I'm supposed to do.
Good luck though!

Everyone from comments on youtube and or other sites always want to be operative and favour the two archetypes anger and bug. Hopefully we will be lucky enough that there are heavy and medium lovers .

Yeah i think single player or with a friend is the way to go at the start of the game. Just so you level up to have better weapons and clothes to show off on multiplayer and if my theory is correct then by then when your finished on single player the operative over hype will calm down.

The first week will involve the formation of a playerbase - those who play and enjoy game, and go onto become part of the community, and those who try it and don't like it, (whether it be for the lack of modes like TDM, no OHK weapons, or whatever else) and leave it. This process will go on for a while, until the community is (hopefully) comprised of like-minded players.

It will also be where Light players realize that in order to be the ninja assassin they dreamed about being before launch, it takes work and practice to achieve. Many lights will jump ship, and favor the Medium build for the higher health and more weapons, and maybe even choose Heavy.

And some will stay with it and become lethal and implot hit-and-run tactics..... :ninja:

Yes, some will - most will not. And even if many of the players that initially chose Light, stay Light, only a handful of them will truly utilize them for what they are, and be a force to be reckoned with. At least that's what I see happening.

Yep then all the body types and classes will be peaceful forever. And im sure the people who are addicted with bug and anger archetypes will find clothes they like more. Then we will have the real brink...A land full of soldiers planting bombs and giving people ammo, engineers placing sentrys and buffing guns, medics healing downed team mates, and stealthy operatives collecting intel then it will be called...Brink.

The first week is always the most interesting, actually. People say what they'll do, but they don't know until they're into the swing of it. I think we'll have more variety that week than the rest of Brinks lifespan. We haven't even seen all the archetypes yet! Trust me, there'll be more than what people say they will be.

The famous qoute for when people come across me "where did that medic come from?!" Then my teamates get up and help me gun him down....... then I run off again to help other teamates.....

the very first day will be "battle of whatever things you don't have to unlock", So it will be a bunch of level one medium-body players with no skills, and only the basic weapons with no attachments.

I think is part of the reason for the brilliant for making everyone start medium. After trying that first you will have a better idea if you want to go heavy or light or stay medium.

Of course :toughninja:

Even those who are a force to be reckoned with still need to be careful. One mistake and its not likely you'll survive.

As for me playing as all classes and body types will allow me to see what strategies and tactics work for each and more importantly how to counter or prevent them.
