The first one I recognized was Eder from Pillars of Eternity. Matthew Mercer voiced McGready and some of his phrases instantly reminded me of having heard the same voice not too long ago.
How about dude that voiced half of Skyrim. "Everything's for sale my friend, everything!"
That's who that one guy reminded me of! Thanks!
I really think they did a much better job this time around at diversifying the voices. The only one that really stuck in my mind was how much Nick's secretary Ellie sounded like Lucky West from Fallout 3.
I think I heard the voice of the woman who did the Redguard females in Skyrim yesterday when talking to someone at one of the faction places I visited.
I believe that might have been Desdemona. I don't recall who she voiced acted in Skyrim, but that is definitely a voice from Skyrim.
Definitely not Desdemona. Desdemona sounds like the blacksmith lady in Whiterun, so I'm thinking they may be the same, but I feel like I'd know that Redguard woman anywhere since I'm always seeing those two guys on the road hassling all the Redguard women they meet and she's there telling them both off each time.
strong is the guy who does goku in the english dbz. im sure he does other characters.
Exactly what I started to ponder today. Though the voice should remind me of some better named NPC, but all I could think of was "it just sounds like Garrus.. but what are the odds".. .. Guess I was right.
I don't think I will ever get tired of hearing Garrus. That voice is smooth as F**k!!!
From Brandon Keener's (Garrus) wiki.
He's better know as the voice of Garrett in the Thief games, he also voices all the Mr. Handy robots, including Codsworth.
He did do Mercer in Skyrim and Clavicus Vile
All his VO's in Skyrim:
At first he reminded me of the instructor early on in SWTOR in the Sith Warrior questline, but after listening to him more.... Pang! that's who you are!
Sometimes it takes a while even if you think "That voice is so familiar". Like Matriarch Benezia in Mass Effect, took me until the second playthrough to realize it was Marina Sirtis.
Roger Warwick is another "I'm Garrus!" NPC. Who has the Ashley Williams voice?
Huh, I thought Desdemona was Delphine from Skyrim, but yeah she's Adrianne Avenicci and everyone else with that VA. But yeah, they did a really good job with the voice acting, the only NPCs with generic voices are generic NPCs.
I swear I've heard Proctor Quinlan's voice before somewhere, but I can't put a finger on it and his VA's IMDB page isn't showing anything familiar. Nicholas Guy Smith.
I'm just still trying to figure out why there are people with Scottish and Russian accents. Presumably intercontinental travel isn't too much of a thing during the times of Fallout 4.
Their voices are great, I don't get sick of them. I'm just glad they had more than eight voice actors this time around. (Yes I'm exaggerating but not by much)
