An Argonian male is able to breed with a Nord female and produce a child.

Are all races really just a different race of men? Some different colored, some beast-like, and some with pointed ears?

I'm guessing it has something to do with fan-fiction.

According to lore, it is unknown if a beast race can produce a child with a man/mer. If two different races have a child, the child's dominant features will be that of the mother, but some of the father's features will be there too.

For example, which I could be completely wrong in, if a Nord male and an Bosmer female had a child, it'll probably have pointed ears, the eyes, and the brown skin, but it might tall or have a slightly muscular build.

Since when? Has anything changed since the Racial Phylogeny book?

I don't think beast races can interbreed with men or mer. Argonians can only reproduce with Argonians and the same for Khajiit while men and mer can breed.

They can all interbreed because they all come from the Ehlnofey. It's not entirely know if Argonians are actually able to, and Khajiit probably can as they are an offshoot of the elves.

I'm guessing Bob wants to see it...

So far we know that only men and mer could bred with each other and produce offsprings which include the Nords, Bretons, Imperials, Redguards and Dunmer, Altmer, Bosmer and Orsimer. If I recall during the First Era even some Akaviri races also bred with humans too, but I can't confirm that.

As for Khajiits and Argonians I don't believe could bred with each other or the races mentioned above. They can try... as evident in the book "The Real Barenziah"

Which might explain the popularity of Argonian concubines. Several books mention them and Sheogorath did as well.
