because the memories are still fresh. of being a slave of not being treated like a sentient being of being worked hours on end without rest and there only food being some bread and water and maybe if they are lucky some rat meat. they still remember the stories of slaves used as living containers. butchered by there masters over wrapped moon sugar that they where forced to swallow so that the guards wouldnt find it . sure the only person that was shown in morrowind that this almost happened to was rabbina but more then likely a few argonians underwent this horrid ordeal only to meet a slow painful end at the blade of a knife. and walking the streets knowing that the guards will likely do nothing about it if you are taken as a slave or killed simply for being argonian.

They have epic racial abilities (Water Breathing, resistance to poison, they're agile), and they're lizards, which is just plain cool.

They have nice lore.
They look cool.
They are rather unique compared to other races.
And they sounded pretty badass in The Infernal City.

Although I guess all those points count for the Khajiit as well... So I have no clue.

well they will make nice popsicles in skyrim. i assume the only place ill see them is in front of fireplaces and maybe in the warmer southern reaches. if i see them walking around on glaciers im going to laugh my ass off.

Resistance ( or immunity) to poision. Underwater breathing...and at least in morrowwind a much different type of playthrough since you could not wear certain armor pieces.

Also their tails are quite tasty when grilled over an open flame smothered in some Scrib jelly.

you dont really see any Lizard people in other RPGs even the big ones, and if you do its a feral humaniod who drops loot and lives in a cave or something, if you play a race JUST because of its special abilitys your lame im sorry (diseases resistance and underwater breathing can both be found in any pot) but Argonian are truely a unique RPG race, lets be honest 4 of the races look like humans, orcs are everywhere, 3 other races look like elves Khajiit and Argonians are unique

I honeslty dont know why Khajiit dont get as much love MY GUESS is that cats are more popular in japaness anime RPGs who arnt playing Skyrim but insted other japaness crap
