I haven't even complained once about running or just the general mechanics of the game. Why do people act like they can't even move around? I love this game!!!!!

Some of these people are just miserable haters, who take a dump on this game just because they can for the sake of there own pride. For those people it really has nothing to do with the game, they just want to discourage people from enjoying it, and convince others who haven't to say the same things they say and exaggerate the the minor issues with this game to a ridiculous level, to observe their influence and feel proud. Ive heard most complaints come from the ps4 people, i dont think there are any (or very few) for XB1, and im playing on PC and really loved this game, 30 fps and black bars didn't impede my experience and changing it to 60 just made things a little bit faster. I don't have any complaints about this game.
Look at the biggest games out there and they pretty much reward you for just showing up.
We live in a culture where we're used to getting what we want immediately and we get angry when our expectations aren't immediately fulfilled.
So while you may be able to argue that lots of people seem to be having unreasonable tantrums over the game failing to meet their personal perception of how it should have played... we need to remember that we live in a Culture that actively promotes self entitlement.
The game is different. As a Survival Horror it breaks the mold of what people are used to.
There's a lot of fun to be had in discovering some new and different and in playing this sort of game.
Let the people who know what they don't like tell you what they don't like.
Instead of jumping on them to tell them why we don't like their dislikes... it's better to hold up the stuff that makes this game great and how and why we're enjoying it.
You'll never convince anyone of anything. But if you can get them to think... they might just convince themselves.
Or, you know, some people can acknowledge the game's greatness and still point out things that were done wrong.
The mechanics are pretty clunky at times and as far as I know, that's not a rule in survival horror titles.
Yes it's okay to like clunky mechanics, if that's your thing then more power to you
