I'm almost positive it's a vocal minority, especially for the ECKS BAWKS THREE SIX ZERO crowd. PC and PS3 players seem to be enjoying it well enough (aside from the latter's inability to get online, but that's not SD's fault)

I just made a review post of roughly this exact same issue. I agree, people are idiots.

Because, it's becoming an arduous task this day and age to buy a game that we aren't able to play until a few weeks to a month later.

I can't even fallback to Single Player Campaign because the Team AI is probably the dumbest I've ever seen. Versus Campaign is unplayable due to the lag, so is the Multiplayer.

When I found out that Brink was being released a week early I was both excited and worried. I was excited because I could get the game earlier, but worried that if the game was really ready to be released early or not. I got my answer Tuesday. It wasn't ready.

What I'm trying to say is, Just because they can release a half made game, test it on the first people who play it that wont complain much because they've been blinded by hype, doesn't mean they should.

because this game was advertised like it was going to be one of the coolest shooters weve seen in a while

instead the graphics are blurry, the frames are choppy sometimes, the games are laggy sometimes, the bots are [censored], and all in all unless you want to deal with these bugs than your not going to want to play it

Here is the real deal as best I can put it.

The only people that show up on the forums just after release are the ones stopping for a moment to say, "Love this game!!!" then not being seen for two weeks because they are enjoying the game and the ones who are having problems who come to report their problems, complain about their problems, seek assistance for their problems and rant about their problems.

Bottom line is developers and publishers need to hear about the problems because if they don't know, they can't address them.

Then we get the folks who stop by and are in disbelief of how much complaining there is and they make threads to complain about complainers. If we let those run we have people angry they can't play their game who start making threads about people who complain about complainers and before you know it we have one to complain about complainers complaining about complaining about complainers complaining.

So...while we understand it's difficult for some of us to understand all the impatience and the complaining we must take a moment to stop and wonder how we would feel if others were playing a game we just spent $60 of hard earned cash on and our game wasn't working. We would want to be able to express our dissatisfaction and we would not want someone coming along to say, "Hey, my game works fine" or "Just be patient, wait for a patch". When someone is upset that stuff just so doesn't make anyone feel better.
