So, why are we in prison this time? #2

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:06 am

The obvious: Prisoner of war in the civil conflict.

I mean, that'd be a reason, wouldn't it?

That will most likely be the reason, but let's have some fun.

* Getting drunk and hitting on an argonian bartender
* Accidentally knocking a glass of table and then catching it to stop it from breaking. ("Stop right there, criminal scum!")
* Wearing a shirt with a picture of the Adoring Fan on it
* Running around claiming that Tiber Septim isn't a real god.

For entering cyrodiil on a stilt strider, just to have the pleasure of watching every guard in cyrodiil go completely mental. Then using telekinesis to aquire spoons and apples and other disposable objects which the guards regard as sacred. Then watch them get so angry that they lose controll of all their muscles and slip into a fit induced coma.........

We're in Prison for whatever reason we want to be. It's an RPG.

Also, because we were caught stealing a Nord's prize sheep, riding it, naked. :toughninja: Damn witches...

Ugh, it was like that when I went to Marseilles, France this year. Seriously, they use the streets as a toilet.

But in marseillais dialect "streets" means public toilets.

IF we start in prison, then we should not start alone (though I actually found that annoying dark elf in the beginning of O funny in many ways). You were, as many put before, a civilian caught in the midst of some big krakatoa. Erring on the side of caution, the Nord guards caught the dozen survivors of some unkown explosion/whatever, and so you start sharing a cell with a dozen folks of your same race and six.

Another fubeca appears to happen while the interrogation goes on. The guards have no clue whats going on and in the ensuing turmoil one of the civilians manages to knock a guard unconscious, gets the key and opens the cell. Every man for himself, you prefer not to wait for stressed Nords to believe the famous "I did not do it!" sentence. You are now wanted, as they describe "suspect in the detonation of city of Ni, male, race xxx...." and you have to first clear your name somehow and may face potential enemies like some of the inmates that were not so innocent.

I don't think Nords believe in jail cells. You will probably start out with a millstone tied around your neck sinking to the bottom of the sea.

The prison is actually ya dream. Ya actually waking up in an inn.

This has to be the best compromise I have heard. Those who want to be locked up will, and those who don't want to start off as a felon are placed in a more RP-friendly situation.

You wake up in a daze, in a cell with 3 other people. They say something along the lines of "Finally, you're awake! Where's that lockpick you smuggled in? We need to get back out there and rescue *name*!"
One of the men/women notices a guard coming for the midnight check, and grabs a makeshift shank from under the table. This person hides to the left of the cell door, while the two other individuals seem to get into a fight.
*Whispers* "Scratch that. This'll do just fine."
Guard: "Hey, you two, don't make me come in there!" *fight continues* "Prisoners - stand back from the door!" *sword draws*
The guard proceeds to enter the room, while the man/woman with the shank attacks.
"Wait a sec, where's the other - " the guard drops dead, a trickle of blood running down his neck.
"Come on, grab his keys and let's get out of here! We don't have much time!"

The group escapes and later after troubling dreams/nightmares the player discovers that they're part of some group that discovered a major plot to undermine Skyrim, most of the law and government bodies have been infiltrated by the enemy, etc., etc...

Failed to craft those 3 chains the mayor demanded you craft as you were too busy in your mood making a Steel Bed.

We were put in prison for being in prison again.

Just for prisons sakes.

Everyone knows in the TES universe prisons are bastions of hope to find a hero. Its like that Adventurer magnet in SI, the gaurds of the greats prisons use a similar magical artifact.
