... considered Daedric artifacts?

Weren't both of them made by the Dwemer long ago?

There are a lot of Artifacts...
I think calling them "Daedric" is a bit arbitrary though.
The Daedra tend to claim anything fascinating - who's to tell them they cannot?
But I believe Malacath claimed that hammer.

look up their lore, it pretty much explains why daedric princes took them as artifacts

I imagine Daedra probably won them in deals with mortals and imbued them with aspects of themselves.
