I miss the posibility to enhance your character with fancy implants like in F:NV or F1 and F2...

Because Bobbleheads? FONV had no Bobbleheads for example, but implants instead. Having both, and both enhancing SPECIAL would be a tad too much. I could however, see implants for other types of enhancement. LIke Night-vision, VATS enhancer, movement speed (outside of PA) and stuff like that.

We might see them in a DLC. After all, a certain individual that you see in the introduction has more lootable implants than were needed for the Quest to proceed.

i thought more of implants that enhance your body like a little extra armor and stuff like that, comparable to the ones you got in F2

Considering this game has full blown androids, I think the lack of cybernetic implants and prosthetics is a missed opportunity.

I agree that this would be a balancing problem. But then again, they could have left out those armor parts that enhance the attributes so much ( IMHO they are overpowered )

Yeah, if we get implants it won't be from the Institute.

Spoiler
Father cut that program after seeing the direction it was headed. He's not a fan of transhumanism.

There's already legendary gear that does the job of the +1 attribute expanding chips, plus yeah bobbleheads that also do the same thing.

Only the Institute and Brotherhood have that kind of advanced technology I thought. Others have only basic implants that may be as good as your own limbs, but no more. Neither the Institute or Brotherhood are willing to share their tech.

Implants would've been a natural extension of the whole synth story. It could even have impacted your characters options, like if you chose to have implants, maybe people and various factions would think differently of you. Maybe even treat you like a synth, whatever that means.

Since we can use perks to raise stats, I don't see a big problem by having implants to enhance special as well as other types.
