Hey forum ima werewolf and ima lvl 52 thief type on master difficulty. regardless all throughout the game i find playing as a Werewolf my HP gets melted through ultra easy by anyone! literally i can only kill ppl by howling and then beating on them if they hit me im done for. also i cannot regenerate at all im stuck like that unless i feed...
I really feel Werewolves are tooooooooooo Underpowered for a 2.5 minute gimmick.. i find the only thing to do with it is use it as a exploit for carrying like 100s of pounds of equipment and running home with it since its faster than a horse.
i literally can get two shotted by hunters who dont do anywhere near that damage to me in human form.
Why is it that in werewolf form I am wayyy weaker? is this a bug or am i alone on this?
edit. i just remeber getting one shotted by a thalmor mage running around. Normally i can stand and take that blast quite a few times. Whats the deal? i mean why is the wolf so beyond weak

.. these dudes aint even using silver.
I signed up to post something along these lines and then I saw this post when I finally registered. Werewolves in this game just aren't that great. I've read on other forums that some people think they are great or they claim that anyone not enjoying it are just doing it wrong, but I'm at a loss to what I'm doing wrong if anything. I play as a Nord warrior who wields a shield and one handed weapon and haven't had too much trouble from most enemies (although there does seem to be a weird difficulty spike now and again with certain enemies), but it's not worth fighting through a dungeon as a werewolf since it equates to a quick death (doubly so if it's a Silver Hand dungeon or hideout).
To me the Werewolf form in this geme is just completely neutered to the point that I'm questioning being one. Right now the only real upside that I see most people go on about is the 100% resistance to disease, which never really bothered me since I've always got a handful of cure potions on me at any given time (and funnily enough most Silver Hands seem to have one on them). The werewolf certainly does have strength, but it seems incredibly weak and feeding on those falling leaves you completely vulnerable to attack due to its fixed animation, so you can forget about effectively regaining health in the middle of a battle (same goes for the transformation sequence). I understand that the werewolf form should play differently, but it's so cut off from the rest of the game barring you any sort of menu access along with powers, potions and equipment.
If I could change just one aspect I would make it so you at least have access to potions. Not only should we have access to the regular health and stanima potions, but it would be a nice addition to be able to also use the resist magic etc potions or apply poison to our claws.
Although the changes I really want to see to werewolves in some form of DLC are:
Access to menu and potions.
Being able to keep our armour on (and have it visually show on our wolf form in a ragged fashion).
More than one model for werewolves (from what I've seen so far there is only one and it really takes the novelty off being one).
Not being so forced into wolf form. We should at least be able to choose when to return to human form and not have to wait around for it to wear off.
Related to the last point I'm not entirely happy with the feed to extend your time as the wolf. It adds a sort of mini-game to the wolf form which takes the fun out of it. Would it be so wrong to be able to change once a day and disable it when we would like to?
Access to magic and powers. I'm not too sure on this one, because I see there is a good case for the wolf form playing different. However for certain players, like mages, I don't think they should necessarily be barred from using spells with their hands. I'd still exclude any kind of weapon wielding, but since you're supposed to be an intelligent werewolf why can't we just wield whatever powers and spells we already achieved?
Back to the werewolf model issue. Although it looks cool, it doesn't reflect who we are/were before transformation. Ideally I would have liked to reflect our choice in character with examples such as if we had war paint then the wolf should have some, if we chose a hairstyle like braided the wolf could have a little bit of braiding of the fur on its head or if our character has one eye different from the other then the wolf from should show that too. This should apply to NPC's too like Skjor and his white eye or Aela and her war paint.
