Happy Adventure
Happy Adventure
I'm happy to adventure in Skyrim because the landscape is beautiful and the game allows me to tell my own stories.
I'm happy because of the skulls. I collect skulls. I love skulls. Skulls.
Simply because if I so choose (which I have), I can just hunker down in the woods RP'ing as a hunter, stalk and shoot my prey, then travel to the nearest trader to sell the pelts. Journey home, read a book, have an ale, and go to sleep. Wake up and repeat.
Exactly this; no point in me trying to say anything else or anything more.
I want to see how the latest combination of skills I've dreamed up stack up against the baddies...
Maybe you're good at it because you play on novice? Just a passing thought while i was reading your post.
Yah, that's one thing I truly would love! There are places I just YEARN to build a house....
I very much liked Morrowind, I had a blast with Oblivion for a very long time, but I love Skyrim. Bethesda built a beautiful foundation, and the modding community has expanded it. It's so vivid, and some places take my breath away. I can do anything, and be anything, and create the stories in my mind that have no other outlet. That's why I am so happy to adventure in Skyrim.
because I will have a different experience every time..............no sunset is the same........ and every day is a new adventure .............this one wakes up and is glad to be so alive
Cause I can do what I want and go at my own pace. As slow and lazily as I like. No deadlines. Very little pressure. I can go on a murder binge if I'm in the mood or I can stroll around at a slow walking pace, picking flowers and enjoying the views. No one cares. It's relaxing.
Not sure why, but ESO just ain't the same. Probably all those hyper people running around.
MMO mentality, I think. I haven't played an MMO in years, but, from what I remember, everything is "zOMG level as fast as possible and don't just plod around!!"
Why am I so happy to adventure in Skyrim.....well,in 2007 I was involved in a major accident that left me physically disabled, I am basically "house-bound" now and it was a real shocker as I used to be a long haul trucker, for over 30 years I spent weeks at a time out, travelling all over the country.I had a real hard time adjusting to my current situation but thankfully,I discovered The Elder Scroll series of games and started playing,My first was Oblivion and I spent many, many hours in Cyrodiil playing as a KotN or a member of the Fighter's Guild...happy days..but then Bethesda started advertising the next TES game Skyrim.....,just the ads featuring the scenery was enough to hook me in immediately and on 11/11/11 I got my copy from Gamestop and have played daily for the last 4 years. The best thing has happened only recently,I got a copy for pc from Steam and have learned how to "mod" my game....WOW it's a whole new world now and I feel like it's a totally new game...I am happy to adventure even more than before!
Yeah, methinks he was lampooning some of the posts we see on this forum. Mr. Brit Wit can be a bit hard to "get" at times.
To be Borgakh's follower (yes, I am HER follower rather than her being mine), and to learn wortcraft and alchemy on my journey to find material to write about:)
Because it's the game where things look closest to how I imagined them in my head.
"For without the story, there is no adventure...."
