Why are you using your chosen gun?

I'm thinking that I will go with...

http://images.wikia.com/brink/images/1/11/Brink-wallpaper6-1280x720.jpg with Reflex sight + Folding stock + Suppressor + Additions to handguard + Drum magazine
Packs a punch, high rate of fire, better aim, looks kewl and more ammo

Secondary I was thinking about going with the http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110125221306/brink/images/9/99/Galactic_SMG_2.png but here latetly I have been eye balling the http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101222043536/brink/images/9/9c/Hockler_Machine_Pistol.png
Rate of fire, great for spray N pray, then of course have to have a kewl looking sidearm

I want my 6 shooter to have 80 rounds and be more accurate.
But I'll probably start with the regular assault rifle or possibly a SMG.

My main weapon will be the assault rifle - it fires on full auto, but is reasonably accurate, has a longer range than the SMG, and can reload faster than an MG. As for which AR I'll be using, my preliminary preference is for the Rhett - its design has a more unique "look" than the "generic assault rifle" outlines of the Gerund and Euston, and it seems to have slightly better stats than the Gerund (albeit with a little less ammo). Of course, the Euston and/or Gerund might have better stats in the final game, so...

(I do hope to be able to change those yellow lines on the Security Rhett to blue, though. :) )

Secondary? Hockler, since it's a pre-order, though if a vanilla SMG has better stats I'll switch to it.

To ensure my equip times aren't horribly slow, I'll limit my attachments on both guns to sights (red dot or Greenscope) and maybe a little extra ammo (though not the drums.) Grips could be possibilities if recoil is too much, but I'm still probably going to limit myself to two attachments per gun.

probably wont be adding too many attachemtns to my gun because they take away from mobility a la Crysis 2(only game I can think of that does this)

Adding attachments will not slow down movement speed, only equip and reload speeds. Your body type will determine how quickly you move.

As for my weapon of choice, I'll be a Soldier with a Gerund. I'm going to be using a six-vent muzzle break and front grip to have great stability, as well as a COGA Scope to increase my efficiency at long ranges. In the end, I'll have a thirty round (I think, dunno if SD lowered the Gerund's ammo count) assault rifle that maintains a high level of accuracy even at full auto (although I'll probably stick to burst firing). And the COGA makes my Gerund efficient at all ranges.

Before I unlock light I will use:

The Rockstedi AR
Iron Sights
Drum Mag
Muzzle Brake
Grip

Slow ROF + Drum Mag = Long time before Ihave to reload and the Muzzle Break and Grip allow for accuracy at range.

After I unlock light:

Bulpdaun SMG
Red Dot Sight
Muzzle Break (if possible, if not, silencer)
Extended Mag

Red Dot Sight and Muzzle Break allow a high accuracy and Extended Mag helps me because I do not like having to reload when someone is shooting at me.

I will have the Sea Eagle with an Extended Mag for my secondary for both medium and light.

- A silenced, highly accurate SMG. Backed up with a good 'ol fashioned semiautomatic pistol. [Light bodytype stealther.]

- A silenced semiautomatic rifle with a medium zoom scope, backed up with my Hockler. [Medium/Light Operative/Soldier]

- A heavy assault rifle with drum mags/foregrips/etc to make is a bullet hose. Backed up with another light semiauto pistol for fast switching. [Medium/Heavy Soldier]

I'm looking forwards to making some awesome guns specifically for my playstyles.

I pre-ordered the Doom Pack, so I'll probably be using that gun first, but ultimately I'd like a singleshot mid-long range assault rifle. With a scope. 4x.

And I'm really curious about Sniping in this game.

Soldier: Medium build with a Gerund or Rhett AR with a red dot sight extended magazine and some type of barrel break to add to accuracy or damage. I want my assault rifle to deal decent damage, and have enough ammo, so that I don't have to reload every five seconds but I'm also not bogged down with extra weight that slows my reload time. I plan on using a Galactic or Carb-9 SMG with basically the same attachments that my primary has with a foregrip added for stability.
Operative: Medium or Light build and a silenced Galactic and Carb-9 with extended magazines, RD sight, and foregrip. If he's Light, than one of those SMGs with a SODA CAN SILENCED CAESAR!
Engineer: Medium or Heavy body type with the aforementioned Gerund or Rhett and Galactic and Carb-9 if Medium. If Heavy, than the automatic grenade launcher (EZ NADE) and maybe the Hjammerdeim shotgun or an AR.
Medic: Heavy with either the Maximus or Gottlung to supress the enemy while I heal my buddies and once again, either the Hjammerdeim or one of my modified ARs or SMGs

Heavy medic: Knock the opposition around with an E-Z nade at range to keep them away from my team and the objectives then move in with a Carb-9 and a magazine large enough to choke a giraffe to suppress them a bit further. I plan on maximizing the potential of knock backs and knock downs to the fullest extent.

My weapons of choice are down in my sig, but as for reasoning: The SMG is a pretty good all-around weapon. Burst firing keeps your acuracy up, they're naturally low recoil, big clips...In a close quarters game, I'll generally pick a SMG over an AR everytime, since ARs have better range and firepower with smaller clips they're better suited for a medium range combat zone where you have more opportunities to find cover and reload. As for the sniper and shotgun, obviously they are situational weapons to compliment the SMG. Which secondary I'm bringing along will depend on map layout, specifically where I plan on heading in the map.

Say I'm set up defending an objective, allready set up my turret, and there's a decently long line of sight into the main entrances to the area. Sniper baby! Pop a round in each and let the turret mop 'em up.

Or, let's say I'm heading through a narrow hallway with little cover when all of a sudden...BAM! Three enemies drop in on me. I don't neccessarily plan on making it out alive, buuut, i'm sure as hell gonna whip out my shoty and plow headfirst into the group of 'em, probably bring one or two of 'em with me

Light Soldier as a sniper based role
Barret LR w/ Snoop-R Scope, Sling or front grip, Muzzle Brake + Sea Eagle?

Accuracy is key for my style of play. The plan is to keep an eye on the main objectives while staying clear of the heavy fire of the frontlines. The pistol is for any more major confrontations I feel like getting into.

Heavy Engineer as a frontline/crowd control role
Gotlung MG with some attachment but I don't know what they allow, or the EZ nade launcher + a shotgun

Honestly don't know waht attachments there are for the heavy weapons, but the use of my engineer (probably backed up as a soldier) is going to be for frontline crowd control. Keep the enemy on their heels while teammates complete objectives.

Galactic
Attachments: YeoTek Red Dot Sight, Extended Mags, and Fore-grip
I'm a nut for Heckler and Koch UMP-45. Decent SMG.

Roksteadi
Attachments: YeoTek Red Dot Sight, Extended Mags, and Six-Vent Muzzle Break
SCAR-H was an interesting gun to use in MAG and MW2. I grew into loving it as much I love M4 and M16.

ill probably use the semi-auto AR (dont know then name) with either iron sights or the acog like sight, prob a fore grip, and maybe a muzzle break. i like this gun for its accuracy over fire rate. makes you time and deliberately aim your shots :) quality>quantity

Rhett Assault Rifle
-gun sling
-high capacity/extended clip (possbibly higher capacity, depending on experience and subsequent preference)
-possible Improved Iron Sights or other sight, depending on experience and subsequent preference

Used for open combat areas (especially around objectives) where stealth isn't an issue and putting down the bad guys hard and fast is.

Galactic SMG
-silencer
-gun sling
-high capacity/extended clip
-D-Flex Red Dot Sight

Employed when sneaking around the area, supporting allied defense from a more hidden location, and ambushing enemies (especially around CPs).

Some kind of Silenced assault rifle. Really though, I can't wait to try out all the combinations, and see which one suits me best.

I wish I could just go into cryo-sleep for a week.

Whatever goes BOOM! Probably that semiautomatic GL then whip out my light rifle to finish the job. It's going to be all about finding different ways to kill people

The first things I'm going to buy are most likely the Rokstedi AR and Dragnov LR for my Soldier.

I want the Rokstedi because it is based off of the Scar-H. I'm glad to trade in the fire rate and equip speed for some power, because I typically use the slower but heavier powered assault rifles. They also tend to be a little better as suppressive fire than others, which will be good if I decide to go on the defensive.
I want to Dragnov because as a Medium Soldier, I'll typically be on the front lines with my Rokstedi. If I have to step back and do a little support, then this will allow me to from a bigger distance.

Not so sure about attachments to use, I'll have to decide some time after.

I'm going with the Galactic SMG w/ red dot, muzzle brake, grip, and drum mags for a Medium Assault class. I'm using the Galactic because from the gameplay vids, it seems like the most powerful SMG for the job. It's to free up the medium weapons slot for a Lobster GL.

Soldier

Weapon Kit 1:
http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww338/The_Luftwaffle/M4thing.png

Attachments: Duct taped Mags, Suppressor, Upgraded Irons, Sling.

Side Arm:

http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/9/92927/1447230-dan_wesson_revolver_dw_ppc_38_357_mag_large.jpg

attachment: upgraded Irons, Suppressor

It will be a silent, but very versatile set up, running with the Euston, taking out only enemies that are in the way of the objective. PPC will be used if reloading can't be done safely.

Weapon Kit 2:
http://images.wikia.com/brink/images/3/30/Gerund.png

Attachments: Duct taped Mags, COAG, Suppressor, Sling.

Side Arm:

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101214040420/brink/images/thumb/1/1f/Carb_9.png/631px-Carb_9.png

Attachments: Duct taped Mags, Yeo-Tek, Suppressor, VFG, Sling.

Majority of the time the CARB-9 will be used, with the Gerund as a long range weapon. It will be a front line assault kit, going for the objective, and focusing on the objectives only.
