Why aren't there female Imperial soldiers?

Post » Sun Apr 14, 2013 10:10 am

She's not an Imperial legionnaire if I remember, but a soldier of the EEC, which is an independent company

Pretty much one and the same. Like those of the East India Company of the British Empire. They all served Britain in the end.

And besides, it's one of the Empires biggest earners. Ulfric would be doing his cause some good I'd assume if he just evicted them, unless it's a case of Napoleonic Hypocrisy.

Rikke, and that rhymes-with-witch who tried to have you decapitated in Helgen comes to mind...

Also, the EEC is no longer held by the Empire, but a fully independed corporation.

I think the female legionaries all defected once they felt Ulfric's thu'um. He is a Tongue after all... ;)

Because Romans don't employ women in their armies unless you count the crazy emperor Nero who tried to attack barbarians with a army of prosttutes.

I need more information on this...

It's not though is it. It's operated by Imperial charter and the head of it is Vittoria Vici (Sp?). In fact, it's entirely run by Imperial appointment.

East Empire is apart of the Empire.

The Emperor backs them.

Romans were quite crazy people. The stuff they do is totally not something you want to talk about on these forums...

Rikke is too much woman for the Empire to handle is why.
The imperials and their rule...

I't's actually good that you bring that up. All Imperial Soldier/Guard and their camp commander are males. Rikke is the only Nord imperial in game (at least that I know) that is female.

I think that Rikke was born into it the soldier's life, just like her parents; and as a Nord nobody would dare to [censored] with her (and she is obviously valuable to the Empire, due to the lack of capable soldiers and the Skyrim sect of the Imperial Legions isn't exactly well inspected due to all the crap that is happening in Skyrim), and thus she proved herself and became a legate. And due to the shortage of soldiers in Skyrim, I think female recruits exist but work in "logistics" instead. (IE blacksmiths and *ahem... cooks)
