this is based on your extensive knowledge of software engineering I assume...
It's extremely relevant to the "I swear if they weren't so intent on hiding numbers their games would be so much less buggy" statement. How do you think them not releasing full detailed descriptions on patches has any bearing on how buggy the game is? The release patch notes on changes, I'm not sure what else you're actually looking for...
They clear have people testing them my one settlement that was happy regardless of where I went in the game is now in a constant state of depression they have food water defence and shops and they just wont start being happy again! never going to get the 100 happiness achievement if this continues to be broken.
If you're really that concerned and offended by this (LOL) when the CK drops you can check yourself. First time I've seen someone complain about not getting enough description in the patch notes. They aren't releasing those for you to test. They don't care about you "testing" what they changed. They have people doing that.

is this not good enough?
It doesn't seem like people are testing it otherwise there wouldn't be as many small problems with the game.
It contains 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. But if there was a patch earlier today then perhaps they haven't got around to posting it yet, I remember coming here with 1.2 patch released 20 minutes and making a thread about notes and sure enough 40 minutes later it appeared.
In a game so incredibly large, it's impossible to nail out all the bugs and create fixes then push them out very quickly. All while they're making a new survival, getting the CK ready, making new DLC... guess they can't get any slack while they're trying to help haha pathetic
