Why do Bosmer get so much hate? : V

Why do people hate Bosmer so much? They're one of the least picked races in the race poll, and are usually ridiculed.
Lorewise. Bosmer are badass cannibals, and they also make great assassins. My favorite race.

They are little. Little people are generally less dangerous. Humans are generally cowards (in RL). Cowards have more tendency to hate defenseless people. Humans hate bosmer.

I love their lore and abilities...but bethesda needs to make them more intimidating. So far they have been basically the butt of jokes in TES games....and thats it. We have yet to see a truly badass bosmer npc. So when playing as one i feel pretty foolish. They can still be short, but their facial characteristics and dialogue should reflect their fierce, cannibalistic lifestyle more.

Because if this was implemented, they would be my favorite race hands down.

They had the most annoying voice actor in OB, but other then that im cool with them. Better then those damn Dunmer.

1. Small, have annoying voices, have strangely shaped faces in oblivion.

2. There were alot of annoying Bosmer in Oblivion.

3. Lore- They agree with the Altmer that Nirn is a prison that should be destroyed, and they're anti-Lorkhan.

I could probably list more.

I hate Bosmer because of
A - Their size - I think wood elves should be normal elf height to aid with archery. These look like gnomes.
B - Their voices - They have the most irritating voice of all races.

They are good at archery and as assassins but that means I have to run around as an annoying gnome.
I will have to play as Altmer to create a LOTR or Warhammer style wood elf which I much prefer.

It's not so much that people hate bosmer actually. It's just that we have had few examples of a badass bosmer, and we've had a lot of annoying ones.

Probably because they are now a joke race, when their lore is probably some of the most brutal out there.

I mean cmon' the Green Pact states that you have to eat your fallen foes, what is not to love about that? That should seriously be a racial ability.

We seriously need a TES: Valenwood to show their viciousness and rugged life style.

Because when I think of the most elven bad-ass archers in Tamriel I don't think chubby little midgets with broken faces and horrible hair cuts, they also sound too happy most of the time.

They should have a racial perk that's like "cannibal" in fallout 3. Hell, the lore says it's what's supposed to be!

1. Elves outside of their homeland are usually considered a disgrace to the ones in the homeland. You think your average Altmer in Morrowind or Oblivion is anywhere close to the wizards in Summerset Isle? Not. even. close. Same goes for Bosmer. Just because Valenwood Bosmer cannibalize, doesn't mean every Bosmer does.

2. Where in the lore does it say Bosmer are badass? It says they cannibalize and are great archers. They could just be really lame, joke-worthy elves that just happen to cannibalize and shoot arrows.

Green Pact obeying Bosmer have to be excellent hunters to survive, as they are only allowed to eat meat.

Which should make them badass.
