Why Brink? : Othor Games

I'm sitting here, when I should be working, think about my character in Brink and what I'm likely to go for ... ultimately....which then led to me wondering....

Why Brink?

Counter Strike, TF, CoD,GoW et all have logical sounding names based on what they do/offer.

But Brink? I assume it's due to the fact the Ark is on the Brink of all out war?

From dev interviews, it really seems like it. Not that that's bad.

the whole "Evolution.....Revolution" sloagan strikes me as pretty ingenious. The first is a statement about the game mechanics, the second is about the story. And they manage to fit a whole barrel full of concepts into one word plus one letter.

Back on topic: I actually agree with the word "Brink" being a clean, simple word. That and such an easy one to remember.

In several interviews, Wedgwood says 'Its a society on the BRINK of civil war'

And i used bold, italics, and underline because he puts that much emphasis on it. Seems pretty obvious to me.
