Why Brink

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:43 pm

When i buyed Brink i thought it was like cod or something. But i got allmost every weapon in the game and to get all the weapon on challenge wasn′t hard. I can only be lvl 20 (not fun). Brink was not the game i espect. i have played for 4 days and i got allmost every thing in the game. Its like throw 50 euro in the sea. Brink is a wast of money.

This is what you call "failure to look into your purchases."

Your own fault.

If you will give it a bit of time and actually learn how to play it and use the classes, its a very fun game. The game is meant to be like Team Fortress, not COD. It is true that there is a lack of content but they are making the first DLC free in June to compinsate for shortage of content. Try learning how to "play your role" and you may find more entertainment in the game.

A little help for you here, Im not trying to be mean,

You bought the game, not buyed it. Brink was not the game you expect. its almost not allmost and waste not wast.

The red zigzags under your words when you type them means they are spelled wrong. Just saying.

I never thought unlocks and leveling was a viable game mechanic to help singeplayer gamers transition into multiplayer, but now I see the light.

Leveling and unlocks are the bait, the actual multiplayer gameplay is the hook, keep someone nibbling long enough and they get caught. But BRINK has a dull hook, and not much bait. Bad balance.

That doesn't explain why they pop up under words like "realise" and "manoeuvre" though. Just saying (yes, I know. The spellcheck is in American, not real English, and it's not my computer, so I'm not allowed to fix it)

(P.S. Don't take my comment about American English seriously. In fact, very rarely take anything I say seriously, unless it's directly related to a game. I usually don't)

Congratulations to 'schizo' for actually responding to the initial comment, even if it was dumb. No Brink is not like CoD, and yes you probably should have researched your purchase just a little. A short search on the internet would have brought attention to the difference between the titles.

this is a new direction for fps

fps without the emphasis on killing

it will never become like COD so it is a like it or hate it thing

sorry you are dissapointed but do give it a little time to grow on you

Most internet browsers come with spell check these days you know, or is that not how it works in the European Union?

I agree with Indigo one. This will never become like COD.
This is a totally different take on the FPS and it should stay that way.

low lvl 20 and easy-to-earn everything is VERY GOOD! It means no grinding BS to get in the way of good gameplay. You have no appreciation for fun in games. If a game existed that was devoid of gameplay but had a slowly increasing number due to your actions, even if the number never ended, you'd play it forever. That game is real.

Here, play this: progressquest.com you don't even have to press buttons!
