Why can't i enjoy TES anymore

Post » Sat Jun 15, 2013 9:01 am

I used to love playing oblivion and skyrim and fallouts/nv.. I played them a lot but now for some reason whenever i want to play them i just feel sleepy or when i start playing them, 20-30 min in, i get sleepy or uninterested and quit. Am i alone in this? or what could cause this lol, i want to enjoy oblivion and skyrim and such again.

You know the games now. It's much more fun to explore the unknown, so look for other games by other developers that offer exploration or whatever.

You need to take a break from gaming. A couple of weeks should do it.

There are 3 things which you can do:

1. Play a total conversion for http://www.moddb.com/mods/nehrim-at-fates-edge.

2. Play a previous TES game, like Morrowind for example.

3. Or, just as suggested above, take a break from TES and enjoy something else.

This may not be the appropriate thread, but this caught my attention. It disgusts me that such talent was wasted. That team could have made an entire province or even Akavir in their own perspective - according to the lore available. Yet instead they devote their time to make something that's not related to TES, just using the same engine.

Sounds like a classic case of burnout.

All you can do is play something else for a while, come back to them later, a couple of weeks or so.
