So, my Ranger Helmet is nearly broken, went to Mick and ralph's, wanted it repaired. Turns out he won't repair it, it's just grayed out. He can repair all my other stuff, but not that one. Why?

Kill another ranger, take his helmet and glue 'em together.
Alternatively, get Jury Rigging perk and glue it together with berets, hats and glasses.

Not too costly, i have 16 000 caps. I quess it's just bugged, i get the perk and see what i can do.

try unequipping it maybe?
imho repairing armour needs looked at.

What about using the "repair" thingy. Damn can't remember the name, the thing that repairs your weapon or armour what ever is equipped at the time. Can you use that? If not, they sadly you have another bug.

nah repair kit only works for weapons sadly.

did houses first quest and voila! a ranger apeared,shot him and stripped him.

theres no stats to the armour
its ncr faction locked
all in all a wasted time to get it.

waiting on a mod to make it useful
remove its faction standing
add some stat boost
make the night vision work
make it repairable

it may look sweet,but after that its the emporers new clothes syndrome.
