Why can't i see any Australians online?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 4:04 am

Hi, i got Crysis 2 last week an i was stunned to see 0, yes i mean 0 Australians in ANY Australian servers. I managed to find one single server with people in it but that server was full, most of the time all of them are empty. When there is a server with a few people in it everyone that is on rushes on to the server and gets full almost instantaneously. Why is this? For a game that was sold out at our local game store, i don't think this is right. Whether something is wrong with my server browser or there is just a small amount of Australians. Why aren't there any servers with people in them for Australia?

Someone Explain?????

Mostly it's because the game only starts when there are atleast 4 players in the lobby. People just hate to wait and that is why they just play on a higher ping servers like europe or North american servers where there are more players. Crytek should just allow the game to start when there is atleast 1 player on the server; just have the game restart when there is 4 players. I believe that way, its ezier to populate a server instate of having ppl wait for 4 players in the lobby. Yet again, a match making Console concept port into the PC version.

Yeah, its pretty disappointing, i can't stand playing with high ping so i don't know what im supposed to do, maybe they could auto kick people with over 200 ping so they are forced to go on their own country's servers causing Australians to go on Australian servers. I payed $60 for this game, i was told it had a brilliant multiplayer, guess the person who told me was either wrong or lying.

Hell, in times like this it would be nice if there were matchmaking 0.0
(With dedicated servers, too, of course. It's not like they're mutually exclusive)

I had the exact same experience. It's a really dissapointing thing to experience after spending $70 on this game. I'll probably just go back to Black Ops.
