Why can't I see sounds?

Hi. I have a very basic level of skill with the CS. I'm playing around with an existing cell, making it more to my liking. I want to add a fireplace. I've got the fire by cutting and pasting it from another cell. I want to do the same with the sound but I can't see it on the list. I know there is a sound there because I can hear it when I stand in the cell. So why can't I see it?

Again, I don't want to go into making my own, I just want to cut and paste an existing one.

Many sounds, most notably fire, are controlled at the individual activator, either as it is defined, or within the actual nif.

for sounds that are separate nodes, you need to have Markers turned on (this also covers lights, door markers, etc.). the M key toggles those.
